  • Question about potty training....?

My daughter is going to be 2 in 3 weeks and has been potty training for a about 3 weeks. She does pretty good for the most part. But it seems that she has about 2 accidents a day. Number 1 occasionally, but usually number 2. Most of the time, she will tell me when she has to go, she even tells me when we are out shopping. My question is, is this normal for being so young and not even a month into potty training?Any advice for trying to cut out the accidents? I do remind her to go and I still even make it sound very exciting for her to go. I started off with a sticker chart, now I use M&Ms to get her to use the toilet and not her potty chair.

I know she is young, but she is pretty advanced for her age. She is actually the one that initated potty training, so please refrain from telling me she is too young and that I should not be potty training her now.

  • Advice on Potty Training...?

My daughter is 22 months old. She has been interested in using the potty on and off for some time now. Yesterday, was a big step. She wanted to play with her Potty Doll. I sat her on her potty while we were playing with her doll. She went twice in the potty!!!. After the first time, about 5 minutes later, she went potty in big girl underwear. I changed her and then put on a clean pair. A little while later, she wanted to sit on her potty and go again. I kept on underwear for a while, until she peed in them again. I am not sure what I should do at this point...I don't know if I should ask her every half hour if she needs to go while she is wearing big girl underwear (she doesn't give me any sign that she is wet, usually) or if I should keep diapers on her and ask her if she needs to go.

  • My daughter will be 2 at the end of May...?

In the past three months, there have been maybe about 30 words that she has said once or twice. But there are only about 5-10 words she uses regularly. I do read to her picture books all the time, and she understands enough to point to variuos pictures. Should I be at all concerned? I am kind of thinking she is soaking in everything and in the next 6 months or so, she will be a little blabber mouth. I guess I just want to hear other people's opinions.

  • For all the GUYS out there...?

Would you guys marry someone that you constantly fought with, that you ended up having a baby with, if you didn't love them? I am just trying to figure out why my husband married me. I think deep down inside, he does, but I really don't think there is a possibility for us to get along. By the way I do love him, I just can't do anything to make him happy. Why did he marry me if he hates me so much?

  • What do you guys think, should I take a test?

I had my second baby on Sept 17, 9 weeks later,

I got my period. on om Nov 19, 3 weeks later

had sex on dec 10, condom failed.

i should have gotten it again, on Dec 17. I am now 4 days late.

The only thing that I am experiencing now is maybe a little more tired than usual and the past couple days I have been remembering my dreams, alot. With the other two pregnancies i knew I was pregnant because of my dreams and I felt twitching near my ovary area or what not.

I am breastfeeding, and I would maybe only pump once a day. I really haven't pumped in at least a week or so, probably more. Also, since My last period, I have traveled half way across the world and now I am in a different time zone.

I do know that with breastfeeding, you can get your period, sometimes it can come and go with no warning. But after my first child, I was pretty much normal, every four weeks, i would get it ( I also breastfed with her, but i also would pump with her at least once a day, maybe twice).

In your opinion, what are the chances I may have conceived again? Should I test or wait for my last check up with my OB on the 27th?

  • Has any one ever taken a United flight and used a double-collapsible stroller?

I am traveling internationally and am just curious if I would have trouble going from gate to gate with a double stroller. I have used a regular collapsible stroller several times. This new one is just a bit heavier and a little bulkier, but not much different.

  • Do you think my daughter might be ready for a toddler bed??

My daughter is 15 months now. She does pretty good at telling us she is ready for bed. Whenever I put her in her crib, she would cry for a few minutes though. But when I put her in our bed (pillows surounding her, and without us in it) She will sit there happily and fall asleep on her own time.

  • Would you consider yellow a neutral color?

I am having a boy for my second baby. I went through my daughters old clothes that don't fit her anymore. I have quite a few things that are yellow. Onesies, nightgowns, and jumpers. Some of these have other colors and/or designs on them. One of the nightgowns has little giraffes.

Would you use these? Or get green, blue, maybe even red things for your baby boy to where? My husband doesn't really want his son wearing yellow.

  • Need help with a boy name?

I am 31 weeks pregnant, and I just found out it was a boy. Have no idea for a first name...My husband doesn't want a name that could really be associated with anyone. For instance, I like Elijah, but it reminds him of Elijah Woods.

I would like the middle name to be Foster and the last name is gonna be Tobin.

ANy suggestions on what would go with that?

  • 27 weeks pregnant and pelvic pain...?

I think I over did cleaning and being on my feet yesterday. I am getting sharp pains in my pelvic area. It started last night and it got a little worse. It is still there after I slept, but not quite as bad...I have two questions. Do you think it might have been because I was on my feet a lot yesterday? Any suggestions on what I can do today to help with the pains I am getting?

  • any suggestions on getting a decent night of sleep?

i am 27 weeks pregnant. I am usually pretty comfortable when I am laying in bed, usually really exhausted. I will stay up late in hopes to sleep in a little (6:30 or 7 am). i will try to refrain from taking naps during the day. the baby doesn't seem to keep me awake when I should be sleeping. i am not sure what I should do, i wish i can sleep! I do have a cup of coffee in the morning and maybe a can of soda in afternoon, but that is about it. That has never affected my evening sleep in the past.

  • Does anyone know if they sell kitty litter in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia? If so where would I find it?

Some Saudis told my husband to have the kitten 'go' outside. I want the kitty to be an indoor cat.

  • I need to find an FAA and US approved car seat for my daughter.?

She will be one year old and 20 lbs. I am hoping to buy a car seat in Saudi Arabia (living here for now). Will be going home soon (to US), with daughter in her own seat.

I also want to know if anyone knows which airlines for sure would allow you to have your own car seat for child under 2

  • I am going on my 20th week pregnant, do you think that it is ok that I only gained 4 lbs so far?

I am considered overweight, according to my BMI and I have read that I should only gain 2-3 lbs in my second and third trimesters. the total weight should be 15-25 lbs. I think I am just more nervous than anything. I think I just need opinions on the matter.

  • For those who have traveled with infants internationally from the US...?

I have been doing some research on which airlines are more infant friendly. I am trying to find the best one to fly to Saudi Arabia from the US. Any opinions on which airlines I should take? My daughter is 9 months old, and more than likely, we will be flying first class.
