What do you think about mandatory implanted birth control for teen girls?
I really don't mean this question to be inflammatory. I have really considered that it might be an option. A girl from about 14 until the age of 18 could be implanted with birth control.
19 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoPet bluegill disease??
We have a pet blue gill or croppie (sp?). It is several months old and about as big as my hand now. It has developed some kind of whiteish fuzzy stuff along it's dorsal fin. Any clue what it is and how to treat it?
2 AnswersFish2 decades agoHow do I help two brothers resolve a fight?
Recently my Husband (37) went to visit with his brother (35). They got into an argument, my husband was apparently verbally goading this, and my brother-in-law hit him several times. My husband refused to hit his brother back and stood there through several punches. Physical violence is not at all usual in this family. I have never known either of them to hit anyone or each other in the 91/2 years my husband and I have been together, so this is very shocking. However, several years ago when we were dating my husband and his brother almost came to blows after an argument, so this may have been festering.
Now they wont speak, or have anything to do with each other. I don't think my sister-in-law is going to be helpful in this either. I am an only child so all of this is a mystery to me and I don't want my chidren to grow up with this situation.
I would love to hear from those of you who have been in similar situations and have been able to come to terms with each other.
7 AnswersFamily2 decades agoDo you have any ideas to create a better "welfare" system?
One of the biggest issues I see the American Government face is the issue of a non-functioning welfare system. The majority of welfare dollars are spent on women and children, and no child should starve (although I've met some women that might deserve it). But the system in place makes no effort to allow a way up and out. In fact it makes it very difficult by cutting off all support at such a low income level many "can't afford to work". Any suggestions??
18 AnswersGovernment2 decades agoHelllpppp!!!! I've cleaned but I can't catch up!!?
I work about 44 hours per week. My husband is on active duty with the military and is not here to help (not much help when he is here honestly). I have a three-year-old and a five-year-old, both boys. I clean almost constantly from 5:30 in the morning until 9:00 at night. Many nights I am doing laundry at 9:15 or later. The house is still a complete mess no matter how much I seem to work at it. I also have to keep the yard mowed, etc.
I just don't have the funds to have someone come in to help me clean or mow. Any suggetions??
