  • Debt is swallowing me alive!! Any suggestions?

I'm working 10 hours a day already (6:30am - 4:30 pm) but I'm willing to take on a part-time job after work to get things a little more stable.

Unexpected expenses (sister's funeral ; plumbing repairs ; auto repairs) have gotten the best of me.

I need something real and not links to online surveys and other stuff which requires a lot of research in order to prove them legit.

I DO prefer something that I can work on from home but I'll take any suggestions - as long as it's an honest job - and I'm NOT afraid of hard work or getting dirty, so help me out if you think you can.

    On the brink of

    Desperation,

    Me :((

  • A relative used my brother's credit. How?

Ok, so my brother just moved out on his own. He went to turn on his utilities -- electric, gas, telephone all that necessary stuff. Anyway, the companies asked for his social security number which turned out to already be in their files.....but under the wrong name --a relatives name for that matter!!

How is this? Can somebody just give any social# when turning on their utilities? I thought all those companies like AT&T ran a credit or background check to make sure that all given information was correct -- don't they?

Now my brother just recently went to get a loan and guess what?....uh-huh....same relative's name pops up -- using his social again!!( He claims to be innocent and that somebody made a mistake....huh)

My brother has already gone to the social security office and they said that all information under his ss# is correct......all under his own name.

How did this idiot of a relative do this? What should be done? HOw do we straighten this mess out??

  • Remember your very first best friend?

    How did you meet?

I remember mine.We met in the 2nd grade.

The first day of school I noticed another little girl watching me on and off all day long. ( I've got that sixth sense)

She sat on the opposite side of the classroom from myself and almost every time I looked her way....she was watching me.

It was a little unnerving for me so at the end of the day, I quickly slipped out of the classroom while she was still collecting her supplies.

Halfway across the playground, I heard footsteps running up behind me.It was the same little girl. She quickly fell into step with mine when she reached my side.....out of breath.

I slowed my pace and we looked at each other. She smiled and introduced herself. I smiled back and did the same.

The next morning, our teacher -- for some reason I guess I'll never know --- moved us so that we were both at the same table, side -by - side.

We were the best of friends for the next 2 years.

We lost contact when both of our families decided to move.

  • What's a good gift for a guy?

My brother just graduated from High school and I'm stumped as to what to get him for a gift.

He's into a wide variety of "hobbies" if you could call it that.

Riding, repairing, and building bikes ; video games ; art ; music. He plays the keyboard and has an excellent basic knowledge for computers. He's not too big on sports besides goofing around with his buddies every now and then.

    Practical jokes are his specialty.

    My budget is $100.

Besides just giving him the cash -- what do you think would make a good gift for him?

  • '92 Plymouth Voyager?

    Had a computer scan.

Bad o2 sensor & running rich.

Also something wrong with torque converter clutch solenoid.

( No, the van's not stalling when I slow down.)

    Q.

How many o2 sensors does this type of vehicle have? Are they difficult to change?

Estimate of how much this might cost.

    Q.

How do the o2 sensors effect the T C C solenoid.....or do they?

Could changing the sensors straighten out the problems with the T C C solenoid?

  • Why is my car making a "popping" noise??

    Anyone who knows old cars.

    I have a 1978 AMC Concord.When it's running it makes a popping noise ( pop!.....pop!..... pop!) and the more I excellerate-- the faster it pops ( poppoppoppop!)<<------ sound effects...heh.

Also,if I don't stay on the gas it'll most likely shut off -- like when I'm at a red light or stop sign......

One guy told me it might have a loose valve or something wrong with the push rod. I have no idea.Does anyone have a clue what it could be??

BTW......the alt light stays on if that might help. The battery is good 'cause I checked it by unhooking the cables while the car was running.

I'd appreciate any help I can get with this.

    Thanks :(
