OK SO a Curiosity question: Esp. Florida peeps: (or former ones) If you have a title loan on your car title, paid the loan but STILL OWE the interest is it possible to renew your cars registration? How about get car insurance? I am being told that it is impossible to do so BC when u go to the Tax Collector/DMV they can see that there is a lien on the title and therefore deny your renewal...Any clues ppl...It's been a lil "household discussion" here recently. I honestly am not 100% sure...thanks y'all!

So My fiancee and I bought a car and in Tennessee and he unexpectedly passed away from complications of an ear infection about 2 months later. We knew each other from kindergarten so it was a tragic difficult event to endure as we just reconnected after 25 yrs. OK so they sent us a clear title in both our names and when I moved back to Florida they wanted everything to be Florida names etc so I took the title and death certificate to my local Tax Collectors and they sent off for a new title...now I have a free and clearFlorida state title in my name only with NO lien holder...the finance company calls literally 12 times a day 7 days a week from 8 am till 9 pm...I was told by several people that they cannot take my vehicle since I have a clear title and if they do its considered theft. That even if they took me to court the judge would tell them to write it off and for me not to worry. My fiancee's mother thinks it had credit life and was paid off but the company doesn't know either for sure. Any advice out there for my situation. I have had friends in the same situation and they called the sheriff who told the repo guy to go away because the title was clear. Thanks.

What is the best way to pack a 70 inch flat screen LED TV for a move to another state....?

I have two TVs without boxes a 70 inch and a 42 inch both LED flat screens and wonder how to protect them during my move...also hoping it won't take up a lot of room which is always an issue. Someone suggested wrapping then in blankets and maybe a box but where to get the box...I was thinking of contacting my local Aaron's rental and ask if they could save one for me but I have about 2 weeks to figure it out...thanks.

OK on Craigslist,I always use the option to make my real e-mail address anonymous but how do I keep it that way when I reply? Does anyone know if this is possible, I am not sure if I use the one craigslist generates for me if it'll still come back to me if they reply to my reply, lol if you follow me here. ok my computer had several viruses and I paid office depot $200 to remove all crap ie virus,trojan, worms, old security, trial versions etc and part of their service included a one year subscription to McAffey internet security...this was preformed mid February '09...now its been giving me trouble and telling me to click the button (with mouse) to fix the problems so I can be protected again I did so it said there were errors and could not; so after calling McAffey only to learn they want $90 for a tech to fix and remove the Security Protection 2009 that somehow their product allowed onto my system I had no other choice and, as computer illetreate as I am was able to do a system restore and thus elminateing all Favorite saved (4 yrs worth, yes needless to say I am quite pissed!) all documenst many many of them, and pictures. I think I need to reinstall microsoft word too, if I can find it on disks it had google earth, Encarta the works...my question to you is the guy at McAffey said I should google system restore software to get all that was lost back which is really safe and how is this possible is all that stuff still hidden and stored on my harddrive somewhere...if so what do you reccomend b/c I have 4 yrs of favs ppl searches, banking sites, bill pays sites etc would be a lot to find and re save! thanks oh and all my stuff is really small still although I re-installed IE7 won't do 8 it screwed up my system in the first place too, I made all fonts under tools and page x-tra large aND ZOOM IS @ 100% THANX SORRY ITS SO LONG BUT i AM A TRUOBLED SOUL THANX TO McAffey!!!

I am seriously sold on the mac and I wonder what all you mac users feel about the apple. I've recently posted some questions on here about removal of viruses, worms, Trojans etc but have little computer skills and avg free let them in in the first place and I cannot remove it to put another security in its place. Do you love your mac and should I get one? Most of the suggestions on how to fix my own computer are beyond me or I've already tried it and still the problem persists, I may get a mac until I can figure it all out with my pc. Thanks

long story short it seems I cannot uninstal my AVG free 8.0 as a virus is stopping this action. this is what I get: Local machine: installation failed

AVG refuses to help unless I pay their fee of either $49.99 or $129.99 depending on what help I need from them...what a crock their protection helped to let something in in the first place. I spent 12 hours on phone and olline with microsoft who said my computer was highjacked had virus(es) and my hard drive is likely corupt. WTF I cannot afford to replace mt computer ATM so what now I was able to download a trial of the full version of Norton by saving it under another name and tricking my computer into letting me do so, then it wouldn't let me log on thanks to virus, i guess and windows what ever they did; I also am asked to save my settings for IE 7 and it says its unable to save my settings it already took all those hours to get the IE 8 which was crashing my system off now all this... please can you help me uninstall AVG the help FAQs don't work on their site and they won't help without $$$ and my IE7 won't let me save settings either??? thank you all.

My mon has a 1983 Datsun(before Nissan was Nissan, it was Datsun) 280ZX which on the way to my house for Thanksgiving broke down. When she got it towed here we looked at it and determined that the distributor cap had been melted and another piece that goes with it. We ordered the parts and replaced them (costs less than $13) but on the way home it just stopped again but this time my mom says it made a "POP POP POP" kind of sound and she looked under the hood and sure enough it melted the distributor cap again. She has talked to a few auto parts store guys who suggested that it may be either the crank position sensor or the ignition module... does anyone out there in cyber space know what may be wrong with my mom's car its all she has and I have no idea, maybe she needs a new distributor which is about $200 I don't know what would cause one to melt its cap... I guess an arch of some kind which is the cause. Please help and thank you.

ok well recently in yahoo mail I cannot scroll and file my e-mails past the "c" I get so far down and it instantly pops back up to the top of the list; so I never get to file e-mails etc. I tried the all new yahoo and it let me scroll for a while but now its messed up too. I thought it may be that I opened a bad e-mail but it also does this clitch on myspace etc; also I cannot copy and paste as it goes to the top of the page and seems to get stuck there too. I tired to uninstall EI 8 and it is still running, I wonder if this is part of the prob. The arrows are big and pixels now so it may be a resolution problem but why would it effect my scrolling and copy and paste ability??? Its really annoying and I can hardly function on-line with these problems. I put new batteries in my mouse and keyboard but maybe when I did or when I was cleaning the Keyboard I hit a key that messed it up like this... any suggestions??? thank you soo much

Ok so I thought it was a yahoo e-mail problem at first as this is where the problem first occurred; I cannot file my e-mails as it scrolls back up all on its own. Now it does this "glitch" in ad on virtually everything do on-line. I cannot view a whole page of anything as it automatically scrolls back up making it impossible to do things. I was just trying to change my profile layout on MySpace for example and when I tried to save the generated layout and get the code it kept scrolling up so I cannot click on the "save" button. This is getting annoying. I was told that it may be an e-mail virus etc and that its from opening a bad e-mail but whatever the case there needs to be an end to the madness. I ran my AVG scan to no avail--still had the clitch, any suggestions.

It really drives my husband crazy and me too now as I really never chat anymore and the two yahoo pop up boxes one for info and one for IM and this takes time to load only for us to close them out??? I set it up so long ago I don't remember and my mom has an account on my computer now and I noticed hers doesn't have the pop ups how to make mine and hubby's that way.

ok about 6 years ago I met someone at my work who has now become my bestfriend. She had a totally different music preferences than me but I soon learned to love her stuff too. Ok we fixed some broken wires, fuses checked out ok, we even bought a switch and when we test it the same thing as the old switch did all the lights ie headlights turn signals work except the dash and tail lights do not work,. He already got a fix it ticket on his paper route and can't drive it due to this problem!!! I called a Ford repair shop they mentioned a relay for the lights and are going to research it and call us back. Please, please help very stressed pregnant mom of two and one due soon, want my husbands' truck fixed if I have to do it myself!!! thanks soo much KD

Is there a way to see when an e-mail was viewed. I know on Road Runner you can set it to e-mail you when your e-mail was viewed but it has a lot of other bugs which the ISP admits to; but is there a way to see just when an e-mail sent via YAHOO has been viewed??? thanks~kd

#1 we can't afford 2 move so don't go there! Since we moved here Nov.'06 we have had numerous problems. We chose an apt. to save $ & be near my husbands work & college. When we inquired about the saftey of the portable dryer kit(plastic box u add water) they said we were to use they said its completely safe & it won't heat our apt. They couldn't be more wrong. Afetr the first exorbinanat bills:$298,$310 ea. for only 1 month I called a local news channel who said verbal warnings are good but written was better & then if its not fixed to put my rent in an escrow account until the problems are fixed. I haved talked to the FL EPA and other agencies & keep getting bounced from place to place. The dryer shares a room w/ the mainA/C in an inside closet & when the dryer is used the walls literally melt and there is now mold on wall & a/c vents + lint buildup on the electrical to the a/c, etc. The A/C leaks freon & re-filling it doen't fix it; they refuse to acknowledge this, how 2 make um fix
