doctor told me i have gerd, and i have allot of stomach pain and chest pressure, when i burp the liquid i drank kinda comes up and i swallow it again, im wondering if over the counter zantac work works for this, i cant see me doctor for a couple days, main problem is i got a drinking problem which i know upsets the acid trying hard to stop, but will zantac work? or does the alcohol just over ride it, thank you
