  • How many psychopath Soldiers that kill people are Atheists or all of them Christians, Jews or Muslim?

My God you would think you people had a corner on the market of morality. My father was agnostic and I was Atheist myself for 20 years so don't give me the brainwashing routine. This is pure choice on my part. You simply don't understand and you are judging me. I am NOT judging you if you listen closely.

Christians admit to sinning if they are good Christians. Not all of them are. Not all people are good.

I was around Atheists for 20 years and I know what the score is. Such intellectual arrogance I can do without.Georges LeMaitre (1894-1966) showed that religion and science -- or at least physics -- did not have to be incompatible. LeMaitre, born in Belgium, was a monsignor in the Catholic church.

He was fascinated by physics and studied Einstein's laws of gravitation, published in 1915. He deduced that if Einstein's theory were true (and there had been good evidence for it since 1919), it meant the universe must be expanding. In 1927, the year he got his PhD from MIT, LeMaitre proposed this theory, in which he stated that the expanding universe was the same in all directions -- the same laws applied, and its composition was the same -- but it was not static. He had no data to prove this, so many scientists ignored

So much for your non scientific Christians. The Vatican has the biggest Telescope in the world there.

  • Will you please provide me a link on the thousands of years of Christians persecuting Atheists?

Oh gosh. Look, I found a CNN one with 6 types of Atheism. Leave it to Liberal CNN to wake up a "Sleeping Giant"

  • Why are the Atheists self admittedly contemptuous mocking and derisive of "our" superstitious nonsense?

Seriously. They think Christians have no cognitive ability. They truly believe that history shows that heretics were the only ones persecuted when Christians were persecuted all throughout history except in the West. Selective Cherry picking on persecution. It is human to persecute. You atheists persecute us on here and are self righteous about it. It is absurd that you state otherwise.

  • Why do the Atheist come out at Lent with more criticisms of Jesus than usual?

This was one of the extra special ones I ran across

Is Jesus like the mafia selling "protection"?

He wants us to let him protect us.

    But from what?

From what he will do to us if we don't let him "protect" us!

You know this is a Holy and Precious time for us. You take joy in trampling on our God but you hurt us because you can't hurt him. He can take it.

You don't seem to understand he came down here at this time to take on everyone's suffering to redeem us from our sins. God made rules we didn't follow and we suffered as a result and he still was willing to come down and suffer in our stead to save us and you are all so selfish you see him in your egocentricity as cruel

  • Does anyone else find it annoying in Dream Interpretation the amount of Cut and Paste Religious Recipes?

And Spells. I know I am capitalizing everything but it is annoying. If you can't think something through, why bother with a cut and paste recipe you get from the back of a magazine

  • What about the Ukraine. Memorandum on Security Assurance at Budapest or is that just another broken treaty?

    Budapest, 5 December 1994

The United States of America, the Russian Federation, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland,

Welcoming the accession of Ukraine to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons as a non-nuclear-weapon State,

Taking into account the commitment of Ukraine to eliminate all nuclear weapons from its territory within a specified period of time,

Noting the changes in the world-wide security situation, including the end of the Cold War, which have brought about conditions for deep reductions in nuclear forces.

    Confirm the following:

The United States of America, the Russian Federation, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of the CSCE Final Act, to respect the Independence and Sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine.

The United States of America, the Russian Federation, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, reaffirm their obligation to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine, and that none of their weapons will ever be used against Ukraine except in self-defense or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations.

The United States of America, the Russian Federation, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of the CSCE Final Act, to refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by Ukraine of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind.

The United States of America, the Russian Federation, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, reaffirm their commitment to seek immediate United Nations Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine, as a non-nuclear-weapon State Party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, if Ukraine should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used.

The United States of America, the Russian Federation, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, reaffirm, in the case of the Ukraine, their commitment not to use nuclear weapons against any non-nuclear-weapon State Party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, except in the case of an attack on themselves, their territories or dependent territories, their armed forces, or their allies, by such a state in association or alliance with a nuclear weapon state.

The United States of America, the Russian Federation, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will consult in the event a situation arises which raises a question concerning these commitments.

This Memorandum will become applicable upon signature.

Signed in four copies having equal validity in the English, Russian and Ukrainian languages.

  • So who really threw the term Geopolitical around. I keep hearing it was Palin and Romney?

Mr. Saakashvili's views of Mr. Putin weren't always so hostile. In the early days of Georgia's revolution, Russia didn't meddle, he says. "Putin was more humble." About a decade ago, the former KGB agent moved to tighten his grip on power. Domestic repression came with an aggressive anti-Western policy abroad.

In a 2005 speech, Mr. Putin said "the demise of the Soviet Union was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century" and "a genuine tragedy" that "tens of millions of our fellow citizens and countrymen found themselves beyond the fringes of Russian territory." With its 46 million people and the seat of ancient Kiev Rus, Ukraine was the most painful loss for the Russian imperium. In a private conversation with George W. Bush in 2008, Mr. Putin averred that Ukraine wasn't a real state.

  • Why do people have to announce they are Spiritual Psychics and such when interpreting dreams?

There are no degrees for Dream Interpretations except made up ones and the same goes for any other New Age or Occult type Science. To me it sounds egotistical to announce that you "wrote a book" or you are a "Professional Astrologer" which is an oxymoron at best. Isn't it best just to try to help people instead of trying to impress them?

  • Why was Paul Ryan so happy at that basketball game last December when he cut Veterans benefits?

My Husband's benefits were cut again this year and his Nursing Home monthly payments have been raised once again. It's like Paul Ryan and Barack Obama are working hand in hand to starve those who kept the country strong. Wake up America.

"We think that's bad," Ryan said during a break between games at his son's basketball tournament. "We think that's not in our interest. We want 2014 to be a year where we don't keep cutting the military, and we focus on Obamacare,

The COLA reduction for military retirees, which doesn't take effect until January of 2016, would save an additional $6 billion over 10 years in the defense budget (this is a lie it started this year)

COMMENTARY: "We don't want to balance the budget on the backs of our military." Then why do it??? Because it is easy and doesn't affect them in any way.

A 1 percent reduction of a 1.5 percent cola is a pretty big reduction for a family of four who are trying to regain the huge difference in pay that they lost while serving for 20 years compared to what they would have made in the civilian sector.

  • How many of you good Christians have Tatoo's that criticize Gay people?

    Leviticus -

"Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you."

    Don't get an tatoos. 19:28

Handicapped people cannot approach the altar of God. They would "profane" it. 21:16-23

    Deuteronomy -

If someone makes an image of anything (like a bird or flower) then God will destroy the entire nation. 4:25-26

Prophets and dreamers are to be executed if they say or dream the wrong things. 13:1-5

Wizards, witches, astrologers, and new age folks are all "an abomination unto the Lord." 18:10-12

Women are not to wear men's clothing and vice versa -- it's an "abomination unto the Lord.

God won't let bastards attend church. Neither can the sons or daughters of bastards "even to the tenth generation." So if you plan to attend church next Sunday be ready to prove that your genitals are intact and don't forget your birth certificate and genealogical records for at least the last ten generations. Don't laugh. This stuff is important to God. 23:2

God says not to bring any whore, sodomite, or dog into the house of the Lord. For "these things are an abomination to the Lord." Sodomites and dogs are biblical names for homosexuals. 23:17-18

Anyway, my point is the Bible is being Cherry Picked because almost everyone is a Bastard or has a tatoo. Come on.

  • Why do some make God sound like the Devil by promising Hellfire to Gays and such and a victory to Satan.?

Seriously, can't they hear the double negative in their speech about the Loving God. Jesus teaches us to love our enemies and went to the cross and endured unspeakable obscenities upon his person for all of us to forgive us our sins. Over and over we are forgiven our sins and placed in a state of grace. That is until I come to Yahoo R & S and listen to self righteous prating. Unbelievable. You are supposed to LOVE your neighbor. Not judge him. Leave that to God.
