  • Did Paul McCartney cover the Moody Blues song, "Haunted"?

A friend of mine is certain that she first heard the Moody Blues song, "Haunted" when Paul McCartney played it at a concert in Washington state, and that the next album he released after that had the "Haunted" cover on it. I'm not able to find any McCartney albums (with or without Wings) with this song on it. Has anyone else heard anything like this? Thanks!

  • How do I get Yahoo Mail to stop requiring me to enter a password every single time I bring it up?

It doesn't matter if I check the block to not ask for a week. This setting is being completely ignored. It has done this in the past, a long time ago, but had stopped for, probably a year or more. The problem started up again during the recent period when Yahoo Mail was down briefly. I was unable to access Yahoo Mail when the system went down for maintenance, and it has been doing this to me again ever since that outage.

  • MS Access 2007 Macro Error 2950?

I am trying to create a flashcard database, so I need the answer control to vanish when I open a new record, and to reappear when I click on it. I wrote the following macro to accomplish this:

    OnCurrent

    GoToControl: Answer

    SetProperty, Enabled, ffffff

    StopMacro

It doesn't really seem to matter what macro I create, I seem to always get an Error 2950. I understand that this means that access doesn't trust the application.

I checked the MS Access Trust Center Settings/Trusted Locations, and I have it set up to trust all directories under my Documents folder (include subfolders). I even added the an explicit trusted location for the folder containing my application, but that made no difference.

  • What is the essence of religious experience?

Is religion about the nature of God? About liturgy? About ethics? Afterlife? What is it that gives a religion its identity, distinguishing it from other religions?

  • What can you tell me about Quakers?

Is anyone out there a member of the Religious Society of Friends? What do Quakers do? How do you express your faith on a day to day basis? How would you explain your religion to someone who wanted to know more about it?

    Thank you

  • Modern World Religions: One God or many?

Every world religion has a unique description of God--JHVH, Christ, Allah, Brahman..Pagan faiths talk of many gods. Many faiths, such as Buddhism Jainism and Taoism are silent on the nature of God. Even atheists and agnostics, who may object to the idea of "God" recognize basic universal forces--science, nature, evolution, love, etc. Does this mean that each religion is worshiping a different God, or is it likely that we are all seeing the same phenomenon from different perspectives, and then coming back with very different descriptions, different experiences of the same thing?

Please explain why you believe as you do.

I am looking here for a compassionate, respectful, sincere exchange of ideas here. There are no wrong answers, and I will not welcome hostile or derisive comments from any side of the discussion. You folks with your one-liners--there are plenty of parties for you out there. This isn't one of them.
