With yahoo being sold off, how safe are my emails from 2004-5-6-7-8, etc? Will they still be available? How can I copy each of my emails so I always have them and not have to worry about losing any of thei?

I have a Diamond 56K Supra Express modem and can't find a program to download to my computer that has Windows 7 so that I can use this modem. Is there another program that I could use, like one for Win 98 or something? My computer says that it doesn't recognize the hardware. Someone said this modem is only for dial-up.
