  • Leave him or stick it out?

I obviously can't provide all the details here and it is only half of the story BUT here it goes. I'm not happy. This is why.

I work: he has been out of work for over a year. (money wouldn't change)

He smokes and plays video games, but I have to pay for it!

We have two kids... but I do most of the work.

He cleans but then acts like God and complains about me not instantly cleaning or that I didn't do a good enough job cleaning up after the kids

He constantly complains about the bills I'm paying for and owe.

He doesn't have a license and got a DUI in my car..

He has a temper, and bitches at me when he loses his game

He mocks my clothes (I refuse to buy new ones when money is tight)

No sex/affection (sorry, but it's not me)

He says once he goes back to work all he has to do is pay his half of the rent

BUT... His dad died 2 years ago and he hasn't been able to go and visit his mom

He HAD a job, needs to do an exam, and hasn't been able to yet

    we have two kids

He cleans and helps (kind of) with the kids

    we are engaged

Note I'm 25 and he is 30. I don't know if I power through NO relationship is perfect and might get better. OR does it sound like **** that isn't going anywhere?

  • To Wait staff (In Canada) do you get upset if people don't tip? Or to other people like hair stylists etc.?

I am fairly low income, when I do have the money to go out and do something nice like get a meal or a hair cut, I usually have just enough money to pay budgeted. As someone who works, and gets paid an rate to do their job, which I'm already paying for, do you get mad if someone doesn't tip? If for example I'm getting a meal for myself, my hubs, and my two children, it gets pricey. I have to work an entire DAY just to get $40 (sometimes more, as sometimes my rates are lower). It kills me to have to spend extra on service that I'm already paying for just because its "customary". I have no problem tipping if I have the money and the person actually went above and beyond, or if my kids do something like fall out of a chair, scaring the other people, crying, and knocking her drink over. But what about just quiet people getting normal service?

  • Can anyone confirm that hubby's bearded dragon is OK?

Hi! our little lady just started her first brumation, all signs are expected. she is just over a year, she was eating less and less for weeks. Yesterday morning and the night before she pooped a bunch all over one of her basking spots. hubby took it out to wash and put it back and went "OMG she's dead!!" she was on the other side of the tank and face down. he picked her up and her eyes were open but not moving. he put her back and she "yawned" and fell off her branch, which we now removed. here are the questions #1 she looks all pissed (black beard) I think she upset herself when she fell #2 hubby thinks that her eyes look "sunken" (personally I don't see it but whatever) #3. her body is cool to the touch #4, when she fell she got coconut sand in her mouth, and hubby tried to get it all out with a q-tip. based on that how can i convince hubby that she is not dead? can anyone assure me those things are ok? so that I can tell him. this has all been within 24hours.

  • Advice on introducing chinchillas together?

I had two young chinchillas, a grey female named "mouse" born in the spring, a tan male named "gerbil" born in the summer, and I recently adopted a white 4 year old female that I have named "ferret". My babies bonded with each other right away and shared a cage easily, but I was warned that Ferret did not get along with the previous owners old chinchillas. I went through the regular exercises, cages side by side, exchanging items such as dust bath with their scent and everything, neutral playtime in the bathroom. In my opinion it is going well, last night they spend time in the same cage together. No one is bleeding or dead. But, they are still shy, staying on separate sides of the cage, clearly not thrilled when they have to go passed each other. I added 2 water bottles, extra food dish, etc. My question is really, when do you abort the mission? I don't want them to be so stressed they get sick, and I don't want them living in fear. do I hold steady since no blood is drawn, or do I abort because fighting is fighting? or if they pull hair? I'm struggling to find credible sources on this. Thank you in advance! (please provide links to info if you can)

  • late stage goldfish swim bladder help?

At home I have bettas, one of which has fin rot so I'm trying to treat it. I have only ever had Bettas. At work, in our classroom my co-worker keeps other fish. one of which is a small fancy googly eye speckly goldfish. I will cutely call him "forest" as I keep yelling "swim forest swim!"

See forest OBVIOUSLY is having issues. #1, forest's swim bladder is F'd up. he only swims upside down and has resigned to not moving much. Also, and FIRST, the fin on the top of his body is gone (we think trauma) and when Forest poops, it's a white string, not the solid poops the other fish have.

Now I've been searching the internet but my head hurts. I have put forest in my available 2.5 gallon filtered and heated tank (my betta is out, due to needing to be medicated in smalled doses for fin rot) and I'm told that higher temperatures are betta to treat forest with.

Also, I have fasted forest for a few days (forest is now sinking upside down, opposed to floating). I don't know if the sinking is a sign of improvement or not.

I WAS treating with BETTAFIX for a couple days, but am now treating with aquarium salt but I don't know how much to add. box says one thing, internet people say another. how much salt do i use.

AND peas. I started cooked peas today. how pushy should i be

  • what are the small circles on my daughters skin?

My daughter is 7 months old. The other day I thought she had bumped her head when I noticed a small red mark, circular in shape, about the size of the tip of my pinky in the corner of her forehead, right along her hair line. It is not raised up, and is not bright like the pictures of strawberry hemangionas I have looked at. after a few days it has not faded.

She has perfect skin otherwise except for a similar small mark on her back above her butt. This one showed up months ago and was red to start but is now more of a brown, but is still present.

Does anyone have an idea of what this might be until I can ask her doctor it's driving me crazy

    buns (frozen)

    potatoes

a cupboard full of spices and sauces

    carrots

a few roots I can't name right now

    milk

    margarine

    bread

mushroom soup (cambells cream of mushroom)

    any ideas?

  • when filing an income tax through Money Mart what happens to your gst?

My boyfriend filed his income tax return through Money Mart. Only today did he get his notice of assessment, which was sent to him via Money Mart (Money Mart envelope). For GST information, the letter from Canada Revenue Agency simply said they would notify him in July if he is eligible to receive GST.

However, last year he did not file his taxes, and we moved. He is concerned that they do not have his correct address. My mother files my taxes on her computer and they are direct deposited. I remember when I changed my address and asked for a new notice of assessment last November (because I couldn't find mine), I was simply given an email address by Service Canada to do so.

What we need to know is do we have to change his address like this, OR did this happen when Money Mart filed for him OR will it be sent via Money Mart like his NOA was?
