  • How does a murder conviction (as a juv) in India effect a US citizen if they return home?

A friend of the family was killed on vacation in India (US citizen). The murderer, her son, is a juvenile and was convicted in India and sentenced to juvenile detention for 4 years and then is free. Will this effect him if he returns to the US as a citizen. Would he be able to vote? Would he have a record?

  • Cat pad of food swollen, cracked and bleeding?

My cat's front right pad has been cracking for a few weeks. It is puffy but she is not fevered and the paw itself is not hot or swollen. Her pad began bleeding yesterday. No fluids other than blood. I cleaned it with peroxide as best as I could and have been watching it. She is not limping but is gingerly walking on it. All her other pads are perfect, as well as the pads of my other cats. Any thoughts as to why her pad is cracking?

    Thanks a bunch!!

  • Cat vomiting and possibly lost voice causes?

Hi! My friend has a 14 yr old himalayan (indoor/outdoor cat) mix has been vomiting all day, and normally a screamer, is not yelling. We aren't sure if her throat is sore from vomiting, or its a flu that has her throat infected. She has an appt with the vet in the morning, we are just curious what could be the cause. Thanks.

  • Cats 101 episode question? Forget the breed name.?

Okay on one of the episodes there was a little boy with autism and his therapy lady suggested they adopt a certain breed cat. I know it had silver and black markings and short hair, but that really doesn't mean anything cause I'm sure the breed comes in all colors and hair lengths. I cannot remember the breed name. I watched the 101 episodes on animal planet but did not see the clip with the little boy. Can anyone remember?? Thanks.

  • How long should it take a year old cat to gain healthy weight?

Hi we have a year old rescued female that was not able to get to her food at her previous home because of other cats. She was is a hider. She came very thin, I could see every bone in her spine.

We have had her about a month and she is finally getting fat and muscle along her spine. I give her KMR and kitten food daily. Plus any other meat snack I feed the other cats. Her sides are still concaved in, she is very tiny to begin with. The other 2 rescues we have we got as kittens that ate like hogs when we brought them in. So the weight seem to come on faster. Is there anything higher in calorie I should give her to fatten her up faster? Thanks.

  • Help with sex drive after marriage?

My husband and I have been together for over 15 years. We have been married for 7 years. Our sex life was perfect before marriage, we had sex regularly and I couldn't keep my hands off him. Literally the day we married my sex drive plummeted. We had a very drama-filled wedding due to rude family members. I went into depression for many months, and wanted to be left alone. Not much has changed since then. I am a high stress person, and am constantly worrying. I worry about us being able to pay the bills and make it on our own. He has been saying he feels like my roommate and not the husband I used to want to be with. He asked me if I want a divorce and we could just date instead. I just don't know what to do or what has happened to me. I do take anti-depressants for panic attacks that I have had since I was a teen. Anyone have any thoughts?

  • Could you help with cat names?

Hi I need a name for our one year old rescued female.

She came with Dot, because of a dot on her nose but does not answer to it.

She is extremely shy and is a brown/tan tick with a white underbelly.

She has green eyes and high pointed ears.

She seems very girly to me.

We currently have Izzy, Peanut, and Sabrina.

I have no idea what to name her.

    Thanks!

  • Help with hiding under-nourished cat?

Hi. A friend called us and asked if we could take in a cat of his that was not doing well with his others and hiding all day, and not eating.

I just picked her up a few hours ago and darn if he wasn't right.

She is a year old and he had her and her sisters since a baby. The mother also resides there.

She went straight to my coat closet and has been there ever since.

If I try to take her out she clings to the coats and pulls herself back in.

She will let me put her though, and she is very underweight.

I fed her inside the closet, and made sure she ate and drank.

From what they tell me she has been living under a chair and coming out rarely.

My friend pulled her out from under and put her in the crate for me.

All their other cats are not hiders.

    And they don't abuse them.

What can I do to get her out of the closet??

  • Please help with aggressive cat behavior! Thank u!?

Hi I am having aggression issues with my 2 1/2 year old female. We recently lost 2 animals and adopted a stray kitten. One of the animals we lost was her best friend. I understand she is very upset with the losses and gain of the kitten who is also a female. She hates the kitten, as does my other 3 year old female. My 2 1/2 year old will come to me to get loved, and them randomly hit and scratch me or bite. She has just started this when I brought in the kitten. I play with her daily and give her treats and talk to her. She is still hitting and biting. We have had the kitten since the end of July, and we lost her sister at the beginning of July. We also lost a dog last week. I am not sure what to do to help her. She is going out of her way to smack the kitten when the kitten isn't bothering her. My other cat has taken to avoiding the kitten at all cost. I cannot have her trying to attack my husband and I all the time. Please help!! Thank you so much!

Hi I have a 2005 Ford Focus automatic ZX4. Today while trying to accelerate it revved but not not accelerate. I tried again and it did the same. It finally accelerated, then revved and jumped when accelerating up a hill. It was almost idle, just revving and halting. No previous problems with car. I just filled up gas tank yesterday at a station I usually don't go to. Any ideas?? Thanks a bunch.

  • Kitten bit me while giving her a bath?

The kitten is about 12 wks and was a stray. I've had her about a month. I have given her a bath when I found her and it wasn't too horrible. We went to the vet and got her ear mite meds and revolution. She still had both so I have been picking fleas off her and cleaning her ears. She freaked out today while bathing, and couldn't get her away fast enough and she bit me. She doesn't seem mad at me, and she let me towel dry and brush her. She is laying on the keyboard as I write. I have been scratched during bathing by my other cats, but never bit. Should I be concerned about her aggression? Thanks.
