  • Cops steal Xbox 360 and games from driver?

Cops pull over a guy driving with his son and steal his Xbox 360 and games. This is current news on CNN making the rounds around the country. When the guy went to the police station to pick it up, they were told they had no clue about what the guy was talking about.

What do you think? Personally I want to know HOW the cop can steal things from people they pull over, AND I want to know WHY the cop was not arrested too! As citizens, do we have to stand for abuses like this?

  • Karl Rove disses McCain, supports Obama - who do you vote for now?

With more and more Republicans throwing their support his way, Obama picked up the infamous Karl Rove as a supporter, as Karl Rove ripped into McCain for having a misleading ad campaign.

I have to say, that is pretty bad - the #1 "bad ad" man himself, Karl Rove, says that McCain's ads are BAD - that is really cutting it to the bone...

So, who will you vote for now? Obama or McCain? Or maybe even a 3rd party?

Any info you have is greatly appreciated!

  • Bad gas? Muffler problem? Something else?

Hi! I am having a problem with my car that all of a sudden popped up out of the blue. I have a manual transmission vehicle. When in first gear (or second gear) and starting from a dead stop, or downshifting to speed under 5mph, from 0 mph to about the 5mph mark, I get a lot of popping that seems to be coming from the rear of the vehicle. It usually stops at 5mph, but if I press hard on the gas, the popping becomes VERY loud and lasts until about 10mph. I dont see or feel any differences in the rpm when this happens.

So, is this a blockage in the muffler that is cleared once the exhaust pushes through enough? Or is this something happening in the engine with misfiring or something like that?

It literally just started out of the blue after I stopped at a stop light and then moved forward. I thought I had blown a tire at first - it sorta sounded like rolling on a busted tire.

It only happens when in gear. When not in gear, no popping if I press the gas.

  • Rush Limbaugh supports Hillary Clinton - who will you vote for now?

Rush Limbaugh has just announced his support for Hillary Clinton and has urged all Conservative Republicans to vote for Hillary Clinton both in November and if they have a primary coming up to change their party affiliations and vote for Hillary Clinton.

How will you vote? The Great Rush has spoken - will you ignore him or follow his wise words of wisdom?

  • Whale hunting in Tennessee?

I understand that in Tennessee you can go whale hunting while driving your car and shoot at the whale from your car. Where do whales show up in Tennessee? Is there a hidden ocean somewhere, or some route whereby whales travel freely within the borders of Tennessee? Do you need a license to do this, or can anyone with a shotgun just come along and shoot at the whales?

  • Is the right to carry guns a God given right?

Based on the recent shooting spree at the chruch in Colorado, the security guard who was working there was tired, weak and nearly blind after severely starving herself by fasting for a few days - when she heard God's voice telling her to aim and shoot.

    http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/12/10/colorado.shooting...

If this is not compelling evidence that it is our God given right to bear arms, I dont know what is.

  • Show "irregardless" is a word?

Contrary to popular mis-beliefs, "irregardless" is actually a word. 10 points goes to the first person who can show that it actually is. Give the word it originated from, when it came into use, what part of the US it was originally used in, who introduced it to the US, and what original word from which language was the root of that word that brought it into the US. As much as you know of all that.

I am sure many people will begin to yell saying "it's not a word!", but the researchers from the early 1900's did not do a proper job of researching the word "irregardless" assuming that it came into being in the early 1900s as an improper double negative word. In reality, by that point in time, it had been in both print and natural language use for quite some time.

So take a guess, see if you get it right!

  • Cops out of control, or just doing the right thing?

First, a cop shoots 7 people at a homcoming party, killing 6 of them:

    http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/10/08/wisconsin.shootin...

Then cops pepper spray a baby and other children under the age of 2:

    http://www.wftv.com/news/14290112/detail.html

And finally, cops arrest someone for feeding the homeless:

    http://www.wftv.com/news/14289861/detail.html

And in the general coverup section, a cop shoots another cop to death in a gun range:

    http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/581767,CST-NWS-...

And in ridiculous court cases, a cop is fined, not jailed, just fined $25 for killing a 4 year old child:

    http://www.myfoxphilly.com/myfox/pages/News/Detail...

Who are the real criminals here? Are we safe?

Quote from one of the victim's mothers:

"And the sad thing is who killed her -- a cop. Cops are supposed to always protect you, I thought, and it's one who took my daughter and how many other people's lives."

  • POLL: Can you find diesel fuel pumps at gas stations near you?

With the announcement by Honda about the new Diesel versions of the Accord coming out in 2008, and remembering and verifying with BMW that they also are coming out with Diesel car versions in 2008, all with high MPG ratings, I am thinking of switching to one of those new vehicles.

BUT as I drove around, I realized something very quickly - I cant find a single gas station in the area that has a diesel fuel pump!

So, if you can actually find a diesel fuel pump at a gas station in your area, let me know what name the gas station is - maybe they have a branch in my area!

But if not, let me know too! If nobody can get diesel fuel anywhere, then there is no need to get a diesel car! If I cant refill it, then its useless!

  • Is his actions just right, sick, or not enough?

Check this article out... essentially a boss killed his employees when they ask for raises...

    http://www.wsbtv.com/news/13766304/detail.html

What do you think? Do you forsee this to be the new wave of the future? Or is he just sick? Or do you think he didnt do enough?

Personally I think he's nuts... But I also think it's very scary to think that you are 2 seconds from death if you want to ask your boss for a raise... I think some others may be viewing this and saying "hmmm, good policy!"

  • Vatican declares driving a Sinful Activity - anyone going to heaven?

Apparently the Amish got it right - the Vatican has declared that driving your car is a sinful activity and will land you in the eternal hot place. But fear not, the Vatican revealed God has provided us with 10 commandments for driving:

    1. You shall not kill

    2. The road shall be for you a means of communion between people and not of mortal harm

    3. Courtesy, uprightness and prudence will help you deal with unforeseen events

    4. Be charitable and help your neighbor in need, especially victims of accidents

    5. Cars shall not be for you an expression of power and domination, and an occasion of sin

    6. Charitably convince the young and not so young not to drive when they are not in a fitting condition to do so

    7. Support the families of accident victims

    8. Bring guilty motorists and their victims together, at the appropriate time, so that they can undergo the liberating experience of forgiveness

    9. On the road, protect the more vulnerable party

    10. Feel responsible toward others

  • 10 month old gets Gun permit - what do you think?

I had to laugh! A father put in for his 10 month old kid to get a gun permit - and got it! Must be a really tough neighborhood!

    http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/05/15/baby.gun.ap/index...

Although the dad did this mainly on a whim, I can see that this kid will not grow up to be a victim in the making like most other kids are. He will at least know how to use a gun and be able to protect himself and others with it. Whether or not he chooses to keep using it during his adult life, at least he can make a decision on it. I give kudos to his dad for doing it. The earlier you learn about the proper use of guns and weapons, the least likely you are to actually use them.

  • Pope orders excommunication for abortion supporters - should the church support it?

Most of the media is saying "the churches say life begins at conception". Well, that is the churches. If people actually read the Bible, it specifically states that life begins at the mother actually gives birth to the child - NOT at conception.

So who are you going to believe? The Bible, the Pope, or stick to your own guns?
