1. What is your opinion of Joseph Smith

2. Where did you form your opinion? Did you actually study his teachings and pray to know if they were true OR did you just form your opinion based upon what others told you about him?

3. If your only opinion is based upon what others told you, would you be willing to pray to know what God thinks about him?

Many people say my religion is a cult. I don't understand how you could say that. Please tell me why.

Here is what we believe.

1. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way for us to be saved and we must follow him.

2. We don't allow people to be baptized until they pray and find out if it is true for themselves.

3. We accept everything in this world that is good and try to incorporate it into our lives.

4. We are taught to dedicate our lives to serving our families and others in every way we can.

5. We believe that everybody in this whole world are children of God and after this life everybody will be rewarded and receive some sort of glory and goodness but to go to the highest level of heaven we must rely and follow Jesus Christ.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Christ said that contention is not of me but of Satan.

I have noticed a lot of fighting on YA. My questions is why? Does it make you happy? Does it change anybody's opinion? Does it do anything but make people on both sides of the argument feel bad inside? I believe we can disagree and explain our opinions without being mean, cruel or contentious. What do you think? Are you willing to abandon contention?

My religion believes we existed as spirit children of God before Earth.

I am repenting of some major sins lately. I was so scared to do so but while it has been hard it has brought so much peace and hope in Christ. How has repentance helped you?

I ask because my religion is very clear on this but as I have asked this question many other Christians are claiming that we didn't come from God or that we didn't come from Heaven. I'm wondering what your sect believes as far as where we came from. thanks.

My religion explains very clearly why we are here and where we came from. What does your religion teach on why we came to earth?

How do you justify all paths leading to God when Christ said we must follow the straight and narrow. If there is one true Church, how would you know if it is true or not?

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of Heavenly Father who came to earth to atone for our sins, die for us and teach us the only way to return to Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is God. To be saved from our sins we must have faith in Christ and his teachings, repent of our sins and be baptized. There is no other way to be cleansed from our sins but through Jesus Christ.

But most people say that I'm not a Christian because I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints(Mormon). So what do you believe makes your a Christian.

Well I am a Mormon. I used to be a missionary and if you want to ask me a question please do so below and I will tell you what we really believe if you want to know. I will respond via edits.

If so, How do you reconcile the murder of an unborn baby with the gospel of Christ?

Many churches say all we have to do is "accept Jesus Christ in our heart" and we are saved, but John 3:5 says to enter the kingdom of heaven we have to be baptized. So which is it?
