Do any companies offer a city-wide wifi service in Amsterdam?
I know all the hotspot lists and can find wifi, but a more universal service would be much more useful. In the UK we have "The Cloud" and "BT Wifi" where you just sign in once, and they you can walk around the city and your device will just pick up hotspots automatically. I'm interested in an equivalent in Amsterdam. Thanks,
4 AnswersNetherlands8 years agoIsosceles triangle question. Calculate the angle in the corner of a room. Simplest equation?
For when a room doesn't have an exact 90deg corner. Marking a point at equal distance from the corner on both walls, and measuring a straight line between them provides an Isosceles triangle where all three sides are known. This should be adequate to calculate the angle opposite the base. I'm trying to come up with a formula for a "laymans method", easy enough to mean a contractor doesn't have to buy a corner gauge.

When I log in to yahoo mail on Ubuntu with Firefox, I get a nag screen which says "The all-new Yahoo! Mail has not been tested with your operating system". Happy to be told this once, but not every time I log in. How do I turn off the nag so I never see it again?
1 AnswerOther - Yahoo Mail1 decade agogoogle privacy - My town is showing up in adverts.?
I live in a small town. I have been seeing this in adverts served from pagead2.googlesyndication.com in many web pages. There is no way my ISP passes this information on to browsers, and usually when an advert tries to tell me it's from my geographical location, it always shows the ISP's location.
I am very, very private on the internet and nothing ever shows me as being in my town. I have searched all my cookies and none have the name of my town. Only my gmail / google toolbar / google checkout has this information, and it seems to be passing this to adverts - which I am angry about.
Does anyone have any sensible suggestions how to stop this?

I can login to my profile, but it's an edit screen. I'd like to be able to check how my profile looks to non-friends, friends etc.
2 AnswersFacebook1 decade agoHi-Definition Broadcasts - Best source for most choice?
I have been considering getting a 1080p hi-def source such as Sky or NTL (in the UK). I don't currently have a subscription service I don't watch a lot of TV, (but what I do watch needs to count).
What are people's experiences of full HD broadcasts? What's the choice? How good are they - are they native full HD or just upscaled?
