his SSN and driver's license. He is 59 yrs. old and has gone through life with using the name on SSN and driver's license. We live in California and want to move to Oklahoma, but state law says name on birth certificate must match driver's license here. His parents baptized him and the name they gave him then, matches what he goes by now. He has NEVER used his birth name for anything. HELP! What do we do? I'm worried if we get a legal name change it will mess with his social security and retirement.

lossen a fibergalss cast?? I got a cast put pn (short leg cast) 2 days ago, but it feels like my toes are being squished. It feels like I am wearing a shoe that is too tight. I don't want to go back to the doctor, because this is my 4th cast. The first one was done wrong, the second one was too loose, and then the third one stayed on for 4 weeks. The doctor decided to put another cast on for another 4 weeks. That is the one I have on now. I think the lady that is doing the casts is irritated with me, so that's why I don't want to go back to get it checked, but it is hurting me. Please, if there is a way to just loosen the part where my last three toes are, let me know. Thank you.

We found a baby praying mantis and want to know how to care for him. We bought baby crickets and he won't eat them. Does anyone know why? We think he may be scared of them or just doesn't know what to do with them. Is there something else we should try to feed him? Or should we put him outside in the grass?

My daughter was in a car accident. The attorney I spoke with is a well known attorney in our area. They said they will take the case and their fee is 30%. My daughter has a broken neck. My son and I were also in an accident (separate one) the same day. We have sore necks and back (soft tissue damage). They said they will take our case too. Should I get a lawyer that is supposedly good and pay 30%?? Is that worth it? Is it a good rate? Or should i look around? Or should I just settle with the insurance company??? PLEASE help.

My son was on my youtube account, then he changed my thing (don't know what thing, because these are his words) to "worldwide" instead of UK (which is what it was supposed to be on). Now if he clicks on anything on the website, it wont work we can't change it back to

UK even if there's a link to it.

I have neurofibromatosis. I think I may have a tumor inside my upper thigh (not visible). It hurts a lot and vicodin isn't helping. If I massage it hard and deep, can it become cancerous? Or if it is a tumor and already is cancerous would deep massage cause it to spread?

I am at a higher risk of getting cancer because of the neurofibromatosis. Also my sister got cancer from her NF (neurofibromatosis) and also my daughter got cancer from a tumor due to her NF.

Just a little side not as to why I don't just go and see a doctor. I do not have medical insurance, nor medi-cal. Insurance is too high and we make too much to qualify for medi-cal.

I just recieved my daughter's autopsy report and have some qustions on the findings. What do these things mean? (she had NF 1)

1. Kidney: several very small foci of interstitial fibrosis, tubular atrophy and glomerulosclerosis are present. several glomeruli contain flocculent, amorphous material in Bowman's space.

2. Gastrointestinal system: Gastric wall is mildly to severely edematous, but no focal lesions. The mesentery appears mod. edematous, no focal lesions. (It is also in small bowel)

She died after surgery. Should surgey have been done if her hematocrit ranged from 34.6-37.4? Also she had been having blood in her stools prior to this surgery and I don't think the doc waited for test results before performing this surgery, since she had her tests done at a different hospital only 2 weeks before.

Is it usually the norm for a judge to deny terminating another person's guardianship powers and give it to someone else at an ex parte hearing? Does this necessarily mean the judge will deny the request at the next hearing when we can talk to him? or is it probably that he wants to hear BOTH sides first?

Does anyone here know California Family Law very well? My husband and I would like to terminate guardianship that his sister has over my stepson's child. Currently my sis in-law has the child who is 5 yrs. old. He is in an environment where there are gang members hanging around and drug use (her son is involved in this-not only that he also has raped our daughter and there is a police investigation going on). My husband was told (by another family member today) that the guardian has talked to her worker for the case and that she shouldn't worry because we didn't fight the case when she first petitioned for the gaurdianship and that the judge won't take the child from her because they have bonded. What are our chances? We want what is best for the child...can anyone talk to me through e-mail to help? PLEASE?

does a large amount of blood loss cause low platelets?? My daughter had surgery and there were complications. The doctor said she lost a lot of blood and had low platelets. Would losing a large amount of blood during surgery cause low platelets??? Or does it only happen the other way around???
