In Orissa, the poorest state of India, local tribals are instigated to attack the innocent Christians. More than a hundred are burnt to death and many educational institutions run by Christians are totally destroyed.

The same story continues to repeat in other Indian states like Madya Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. The governments- both local and union- seem to be inept to contain the violence or totally indifferent towards the issue. The Church leaders continue to preach them to tolerate.

When they are denied basic human rights to practice their belief and forced into conversion to Hinduism by means of threats, what will they do?

It is very easy to brand a goat dog and stone it. In the same way, if you don't like one, call him/her traitor.

Almost all major religions have history of centuries. It is understandable that they had to struggle during their infancy. But that period has passed on, and some relegions are even on their death-bed! Even if they have lost their significans, they still fight. They refuce to acknowledge the fact that everything- life, ideologies,science,philosophy,religion, achievements and what not- on this earth is mortal. If our souls could live after us, we human beings must be satisfied. But the religious scripts and leaders mislead our brothren and instigate them to fight. We spend our valuable time thinking about the ways to protect ourselves from the always possible incursion by the infidels!
