On the hot and barren streets of Guantanamo Bay roams a grim and bitter monster known to the Troopers there only as Giganta Face. Giganta Face wanders the cliffs at night, and above the roar of the crashing waves, the residents of Camp America can hear her solemn lament... a song of her love for kitties and sparkley things...

  • Why is my two week old throwing up?

He's not just spitting up, this is vomiting. Theres enough of it to thoroughly soak both him and me so we both have to change clothes when its done. He started doing this the day before yesterday. I thought at first that it was because I had eaten some spicy food on Monday but I tried feeding him formula instead of breastfeeding and he threw that up too. I took him to the doctors yesterday and the doctor said that I was probably feeding him too much. But at the same time, he hasn't gained any weight and the doctor said that at this point its not normal and that he should be gaining. Still, I tried feeding him only every two hours, and never for longer than 20 minutes, and he still threw up just a few minutes ago. I called the doctor again and was told to take it back to 10 minutes. Does this sound right? When I had him, the nurses at the hospital told me to nurse him for 20 minutes on each side. I'm really worried. Does my doctors advice sound normal?

  • How do I find a job in another country?

I currently live in the US. I am only half way done with my bachelors, but I've got four years military experience, if that helps any. Where can I look for a job in another country (besides going active and being stationed somewhere, if I'm leaving the country I'm doing it as a civilian, thank you)? Are there any websites for other countries? I'm hoping for maybe Canada or a South American or European country.

  • Can I join the Army in Canada?

Here in the US people from other countries can join our Army and it will help them to get their citizenship. I'm tired of being in the US Army, the Canadian Army looks nice. Can I do the same thing there?

  • Does anyone have a recipe for Qdoba's queso dip?

We are throwing a birthday party for my aunt and she LOVES Qdoba. We want to create our own Qdoba Nacho bar for her (because it is super expensive to have Qdoba cater). We know how to recreate everything but the queso cheese sauce. Does anyone have a recipe for Qdoba's queso cheese?

It must be Qdoba's queso. If you haven't had their queso, you probably can't give a good recipe.

  • What is it called when you use human traits to describe a non human subject?

Like I just read a CNN article that called marijuana the shiftless counterpart of the go getter hemp. It made me chuckle.

I know theres a term for this. For some reason the only thing I can think of is hyperbole, which I know is a gross exageration used to make a point. Whats giving human traits to non human subjects?

  • Is it too late to file for a restraining order?

When my ex and I broke up in March he became very hostile. He would text me upwards of 30 times a day calling me nasty names, he would call me up drunk and make threats, and he was spying on my myspace account. I eventually changed my number and my email address, blocked him from my myspace and set it to private, switched schools and told the armed guards at my work to be on the lookout for him.

I am regretting not having gotten a restraining order, but I assume its too late. A few people have told me it isn't. Who's right?

  • What evidence do I have to present to prove my ex is an unfit parent?

My ex is a severe alcoholic with no job, no place of residence, no drivers license (taken because of a DUI ten years ago and he has never bothered to take the classes to get it reinstated) and an arrest record. I know that on a daily basis he drinks till he passes out and wets himself, and therefore it would be totally unsafe to leave a child with him (what if a fire alarm goes off or the baby cries? If he can't wake up to pee, he's not going to wake up for a crying baby), but how do I prove that in court should he take me to court after the baby is born?

For the record, his problems were not apparent to me when we first started dating. They all seem nice enough at first. I left him when his true colors bled through. I am looking for serious answers to a serious question. I don't feel like I need to dignify nasty responses with anything else.

  • Is it true that induced labor hurts more than going natural?

I really want to have a natural birth, but I'm in a bit of a difficult situation. I was getting my insurance through my mother because my job does not provide insurance. She just got laid off last week, and her severance package lasts up until the 13th of November. I am due the 15th of November. I am going to try all those natural methods of induction before the 13th, of course; nipple stimulation, red raspberry leaf tea, evening primrose oil, etc., but theres still a good chance I won't go into labor by the 13th. If I need to induce with pitocin, is it true it hurts more than going into labor naturally?

I would prefer not to strip membranes if it can be avoided, so I can labor in the jacuzzi tubs my hospital offers in every room. And I know epidural is available, but I really want to go natural without pain meds. I think that is the birth experience that will make me happiest. I have nothing against those who chose pain relief, but I just don't think its for me. Thanks!

  • Does anyone know where I can find information on thumb dominance?

I've been assigned to do a lab experiment determining whether or not thumb dominance (which thumb is on top when you clasp your hands) has anything to do with hand dominance. I cannot seem to find a single paper (preferably peer reviewed) written on this subject, no matter which search engine I go to. I've tried searching for "thumb dominance", "dominant thumb", "handedness", "hand dominance", "linked inherited traits", I'm running out of ideas. Can anyone suggest something else to search under, or send me links to article on this subject? Thanks!

  • Having trouble with knitting instructions?

I'm trying to knit some booties out of a book, and the instruction I'm stuck at says knit 15, skp 1, then turn. What does turn mean? Most everything I've knitted so far has been hats and scarves, so I hope I'm not too out of my league trying to figure out these booties.

    Thanks for the help!

  • Does anyone use cloth diapers?

I know there are lots of different kinds available, can anyone explain the difference? I don't think I want the big square, fold 'em yourself kind (unless someone can make a good case why they're better than the newer models), but I am a little lost looking at all the newer varieties.

Can anyone reccomend a good brand?
