Wasn't that kook Ron Paul right when over a year ago he stated the economy was heading for a meltdown? I wonder what else he was right about.

Then why is the US administration trying to pass an Iraqi oil law that gives control of the oil in Iraq to international corporations like ExxonMobil and BP rather then letting it be state controlled?

Doesn't holding their country hostage with military force until they give international corporations a chunk of their oil revenue mean we are stealing it?

I am a Conservative Hindu that went to the Republican county convention for my county, and was elected to the State Republican Party Convention. The level of religious elitism there was astounding. They even passed a resolution stating that "Judeo-Christian" student groups be allowed to use school facilities for meetings. When a Ron Paul supporter tried to amend the resolution to include "all religious groups" there was nothing but ignorant racist debate. They said that terrorist students might use it to plot terrorism and other such nonsense. In the end the resolution passed "as is" almost unanimously with the exception of the people there supporting Ron Paul. My twin brother who was also a delegate to the convention was infuriated. He had just came back from Iraq serving as a combat engineer running towards the IEDs to save other military members and here he was back in the States being denied his right to religion.

Of course the Republican nominee has lost the support of me and my brother. But more importantly they have lost the support of dozens of US Army soldiers and most of my brothers National Guard unit. When he told them what had happened they too felt betrayed that they would treat one of their brothers in arms that way.

I have an inground pool, with a spa and waterfall with operates with Jandy valves. The pressure of the return has significantly decreased, I can tell by the overflow from the spa to the pool isn't as steady as it used to be. I have cleaned the skimmer baskets, and made sure openings there are open, valves are in correct position, the cartridge filters are clean (cleaned twice to verify and make sure seal is good even put some jelly on it), and the return is set to pool only (although 1 jet in spa is also activiated in the pool return), and the basket near the pump is also clean. I think the only change I have made recently is I switch from a Dolphin Robitic cleaner to a manual vacuum. The pull from the drains is quite strong, strong enough to get magnolia leaves through the tube, the water is not strong on the way back. The pressure guage on my filter only reads between 0-2 psi when set to pool return and 10 psi when set to spa return, and 0 on waterfall return. No waters leaks either.
