Last night I was watching Lord of the Rings: Return of the King on my samsung 5.1 surround sound bluray entertainment system. Occasionally during a sequence with a lot of different sounds going on in the mix, both of my rear speakers would make a very loud crackling noise. It sounded like someone blowing into a microphone, or wind interference.

At first I was afraid that I somehow blew a speaker, but I wasn't listening at a loud volume at all - AND it happened to two different speakers simultaneously. This happened about 10 times during the movie (about 4 hours.) I've tested the speakers with other movies as well as the system's speaker test, and they sound fine. I've only had this problem with the one movie.

Volume didn't effect whether or not the speakers would make the noise. I replayed some of the scenes where it happened at a very low volume, and it still happened.

Is it possible that the problem is with the bluray disc? Again, it's not happening with anything else but this one movie. I even played the other Lord of the Rings movies (part of the same box set) and it never happened.

Anybody have a guess as to what this is?

I just got Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin edition for Xbox 360. If I understand it correctly, you have to hit the "use" button to open the illusory wall rather than hitting it with your weapon. The thing is, no matter what illusory wall it is, it never opens. I've tried pressing every button on the controller. I've held in A, I've pressed it normally, I've pressed it rapidly. Nothing ever happens. I've looked up illusory wall locations on wiki pages so I know that they're legitimate locations.

Is there some sort of item or ring I need to have before opening them? Is anyone else having this problem with Scholar of the First Sin

I've recently been told that I should resign from my position, or they're going to fire me. My job performance has been awful lately due to some extreme problems with bipolar, depression, and anxiety. I've been having panic attacks at work, and often times cannot even work while I'm in the workplace because of my mental health disorders.

I am currently under a doctor's care, and have been for years. I'm on several medications. It would be easy to prove that I actually have these disorders, and that they are disabling my ability to function in a work setting.

I just gave a two weeks notice to my employer, and I'm terrified. I have no idea what to do.

Recently my group had a laughing fit when someone said:

"Your proficiency in chariot riding is irrelevant if there are no dolphins around!"

and

"I'd be rich if everyone wasn't racist!"

Is it possible to recieve any type of disabilty benefit for a mental illness? I know that disability is usually reserved for physical injuries. I was recently hospitilized for bipolar, depression, and anxiety disorders. I've dealt with them for years, but lately it takes every ounce of strength to go out of the house. My health is degrading every day I work. I can't get anything done at work, and I'm constantly sobbing at my desk. I'm currently going through some drastic changes in medication/treatment. I don't know how much longer I can survive like this.

Imagine a glass sphere. The glass is a two-way mirror (I know TRUE two way mirrors don't exist, they are usually glass treated with some sort of material to reflect light in a weird way.) But let's say it was a true, two way mirror. The reflecting side is on the inside of the sphere, with the transparent side on the outside. What would the ball look like?

I would imagine it would take on the colors and shapes from around the room, since the inside would be an infinite reflection of the light entering the sphere. imagine what it would if you shined a high-power laser pointer at the sphere in total darkness. Would the light be blinding since it is infinitely reflecting a laser?

I'm pretty skeptical about this.

This guy at GameStop told me that I didn't need the xbox data transfer cable that Microsoft sells, that I could transfer it using an HDMI cable. He did not give any instructions on how to do so, he just said that he has done it before with no problems.

Is this total BS? I can't imagine that an HDMI cable could move HDD data from one xbox 360 to another. And if it could, I would think I would be able to find a tutorial on the internet.

The dial that switches the mode for the AC and Defrost is having no effect on what vents the air comes out of. The temperature and strength of the air can still be changed; the dials are working just fine.

Currently, the vents are stuck on the "face and feet" option. The dial to change it still turns and clicks just fine, but turning it does absolutely nothing. I try to turn it to defrost mode, but the air still comes out of the front vents and the foot vents. Any idea what could be wrong here?

I have a Vizio 240hz LED TV. I've had it for a few years, I can't tell if it's just me getting used to the smooth motion, but it seems that lately it is failing. It seems almost as if the hertz rating is going down. There is definitely a huge difference in motion-blur reduction between my TV and other 240hz TVs at electronics store. I'm not sure how hertz ratings work mechanically, is there anything I can do to help restore it's smooth, motion-blur-free, picture?

I have a 2003 Chevy Cavalier sport LS coupe. It has 3 defrost vents: 2 on the sides to get the front side windows, and then 1 big one in the center for the main windshield. Whenever I turn the heater to "defrost," the two on the side work totally fine - but the middle one is completely useless. No air comes out of it whatsoever. Instead, air comes out of the main vents facing you - not the windshield. Any ideas of what is wrong?

My wife and I have been married for 7 months. We are each others' first and only sexual partners. Last night we had sex. After we were done, i went to wash up, and noticed i had a cream colored substance at the base of my penis with the consistency of cottage cheese . This is the first time ever noticing anything like this.

Before penetrative sex, i gave her oral. I didn't notice anything weird while i was down there. No smell, no substance that i could see. It must have been deep in there.

Any idea what could be going on with her?

I'm 6 feet, 3 inches tall. I'm about 240 pounds, so I'm not really fat - but I'm big. I have dark red hair that's medium-long (the back is pretty short, but my bangs go to my chin. I usually slick it all back in a pompadour style.) I have a red beard that covers my my cheeks, chin, and neck that's a couple inches long. I have a small-ish mustache. I'm very pale (redheads, lol). I wear glasses, but i could go without them if I needed to.

Closest thing I could think of is Android 16 from Dragon Ball Z, but I wouldn't be okay with shaving my head to a mohawk.

I've had my betta for about a month in a rather large vase in my work office. Water temperature stays around 75 degrees without a heater and he's been a happy little fish. Very healthy, swims around constantly, eats great.

I come in to the office this morning, and someone had topped off his vase with water. About 20% had evaporated, and i was going to top it off today, but someone beat me to it. I felt the water, and it is significantly colder. I have a feeling whoever topped it off used cold tap water. My betta is very lethargic and only really moves quickly if i come close to touching him. He is breathing slower than normal. He still eats a pellet if I put one in there, but usually he is extremely active and responsive to my actions.

Do you think he's going to survive until the water temp gets back up to normal?

I work at a bank located inside a grocery store. There is this woman that started working in the grocery store a few months ago and I simply can't get her out of my head. I know her name, and that is about all I know. I doubt she knows my name. She knows I exist, we've talked once or twice, but we don't know each other in the slightest.

How to I ask her out on a date? I don't want to do anything too crazy, because if things so south quickly, we still have to see each other every day. We have mutual friends on Facebook, but I haven't really been a part of those peoples' lives since high school years ago.

I am absolutely awful at the "cold approach." Every relationship I have ever been in has been set up for me through mutual friends. I am totally new to approaching someone I don't know and asking for a chance of romance. Maybe I should learn since I'm getting around that age where it's time to look into marriage.

Any safe, distanced way of asking her out? What's your opinion on sending a Facebook message since we don't know each other at all? I feel it's pretty tacky, but also the safest if things so bad.

I work at a bank. My branch is located inside of a grocery store. The employees at the bank and the employees in the grocery store will occasionally communicate, but I think we tend to avoid each other for the most part. Word has reached me that there is a young girl that works at the grocery store who is interested in starting a relationship with me.

She is still in high school, I'm in my twenties. She is being extremely straight forward and aggressive though. She's sent me messages over Facebook calling me sexual names and using quite a bit of innuendo.

I just want to know how to let her down, but let her down somewhat easy. I tried ignoring her, but it isn't working. I need to actually speak up and say NO. I don't want anything to do with her, but she's young and I just assume she'll start a bunch of drama around the workplace if I offend her too much.

I had a 3.7 ohm, 8 inch sub-woofer that blew out on me. I replaced it with a 4 ohm 8 inch subwoofer since that was the closest thing I could find. The power is a little underwhelming, and I can tell it just isn't getting enough juice to start pumping hard. It still sounds really good though!

The 3.7ohm sub was factory made for the vehicle. (Toyota Avalon). Is there any way to boost the ohms by just a tiny bit to give the sub more power?

I took a shot at making my own hot sauce. It turned out pretty tasty, but the flavor is a little slow to hit. The heat and flavor really builds after a few minutes of eating it, but I want to make it so that it hits you the moment you taste it. Any ingredients that you can think to try to give it a stronger taste out of the gate would be appreciated! Here's roughly what I used.

2 cups water

1 cup white vinegar

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of canola oil

8 Jalapeno peppers (with seeds)

5 Habanero peppers (with seeds)

3 Habanero peppers (no seeds)

roughly 1/4 cup of cilantro

1/2 cup of minced onion

3 cloves of garlic

A few squeezes of Agave Nectar

I'm looking into making a movie. I'm not expecting to make a profit on it, but I definitely want to submit it to a film festival or two. I do not have Sony Vegas (the program I like most), but I have a friend who does. He would be willing to allow me to use his copy.

Here's the question: Can I legally create something, and quite possibly gain recognition, with Vegas if it is not registered in my name? I know that when you get it from Sony, they have you register online. To be honest, his copy might be torrented/pirated, I really don't know. The only thing that I know about it is that it won't be registered in my name.

Would I get in legal trouble if someone found out that my film was made with the use of a software that I did not buy, and just borrowed?
