  • Boyfriend issues...?

My steady boyfriend of over 7 years took off tonight while I was at work. He told me he has to work tomorrow, so I was expecting him home when I got home. It's now 1 am. He won't answer his phone. He knows I hate this. Is he hurt somewhere? Did he get in a wreck? Did he get into some trouble? Am I wrong to be worried and ticked off that he hasn't called? I'd never do this to him as I call to let him know if I am going to be late or if I go somewhere out of the ordinary. Am I crazy to be pissed off?

  • Vision Quest tarot deck - what do you think?

This deck was my first - love it. I am new to the whole tarot thing, so I have a lot to learn. Does anyone out there have this deck? Any advice? Did it take you a while to "learn" it? Tell me what you think...

  • Weird cat condition - she attacks her tail tip!?

Young but mature cat got dumped at the barn near where I live. No one assumed responsibility for her, so I stepped up. She must have had kittens, but they weren't dumped with her. Her milk swelled for a week and then went away. I didn't know what was going on with her, so after $150 at the vet, she's vaccinated, deflea'ed, etc. and definitely not pregnant. While she was at the vet's office being checked out, I get a call to come pick her up because she's stressed out. They said she made noise like she was in a cat fight and when they went to see, she had bloodied her own tail and stripped it of hair.

They said it would heal on its own and not to worry. That was 3 weeks ago. She keeps reinjuring it at home, but won't let me near it to clean it or dress it (like I'd know how to dress it so that it would actually stay on and not freak her out!).

Why did she do this? Anyone out there have a similar experience? Any other advice??? Thanks in advance.

  • I have a 17 year old cat who is having urinary tract trouble. Can I wait until the morning for a vet?

He started all this about 2 hours ago. Instead of settling down to sleep on me, as normal, he is restless and uncomfortable. I checked his bladder and it seemed like it wasn't overly full, distended, but I am not sure. I manually expressed urine from him to ease the pressure a bit for him and his urine was clear, but 2 or 3 small bloody spots appeared as well. It is past midnight, and I am wondering if I should wait to take him in to the vet first thing in the moring, or if he needs an emergency vet. Any advice is appreciated.
