  • How can I unfriend and/or block someone on Facebook who deactivated their account?

I have a husband and wife who were both friends of mine in life and on Facebook. For personal reasons, we aren't friends anymore. I have unfriended and blocked the husband, but the wife said hateful things to me and then deactivated her account. I don't know her email address, so I can't enter that in the box to block someone on FB. They have been reactivating her acct on and off to sneak peeks at my FB profile. It is childish, I know. My point is, I don't want them privy to my FB. I realize they can always have other mutual friends "troll" my page...no biggie, I have nothing to hide. I just don't want THEM to be able to see my page. I hope someone can help!!!

  • HELP! My cd/dvd driver isn't working!?

I have an HP Pavilion PC with Windows 7 Home. I have been ripping CD's to my music library to put on to my mp3 player. It suddenly stopped working. When I put a cd into the drive, the green light comes on and you can hear it trying to read the disc then it stops and the light goes off. This happened once before and a friend uninstalled and then reinstalled the driver...I have no clue how to do that. Please help. Thanks!

  • Need suggestions for a friend who has a 5 yr old daughter that doesn't like to brush her teeth?

She did great with the Little Bear training toothpaste, but now that they switched to regular paste, she pitches a fit about brushing them. She is a super smart little girl..can dress herself, ties her own shoes, knows how to write not only her own name, but can write her mom and dad's names as well. Some of you may be thinking "why not just let her go back to using the little bear toothpaste"..her mother feels strongly about not going backwards in this "battle". It is an issue every morning before leaving for K5. I have a son who is only 9 days younger than her...he has no issues with brushing his teeth, but isn't nearly as mature and advanced as she is in other areas (such as tying his own shoes). I am just looking for suggestions from parents who may have had or be having this same problem. Thanks for reading and taking the time to answer :)

  • Anyone have any suggestions for silly ways to do superlatives for a 20 yr. High School Reunion?

We want to keep it fun. For example, instead of having a superlative titled "most changed since HS, we want to call it "The Michael Jackson award" Because MJ changed so drastically appearance wise through out his life time. I would love any feedback and ideas. Thanks for taking the time to read an answer!

  • what's wrong w/ my 4 yr old?

I posted this earlier..but wanted to put it back out there...My son turned 4 on Monday. He will start 4K next month. He is (for lack of a better word) a scaredycat! He is afraid of loud noises such as the vacuum cleaner, plains, trains, motorcycles, etc. I am a Stay at home mom..so he has been home w/ me since birth. I tried a mom's morning out program when he was 2. 2 hours a day, 3 days a week. He was great the 1st week..got sick and missed the 2nd week, after that, it was pure hell. He would literally grab a hold of the door jam and hold on w/ all his might not to go in the classroom. I would leave and get in my car and cry. I tried to stick with it. The 4th week, I went and just stayed one day to see how he did. He participated in all activities, etc. Long story short, I ended up pulling him out of there. He was the youngest in his class, his teachers and the director sent me home and told me to take him to the pediatrician and look up a government website about milestones. I was devastated. Fortunately, there was a lady who was being paid by another child's parents to be in the classroom daily and "child shadow" one of his classmates. She saw my son everyday and heard the conversation about them suggesting I talk to the pediatrician and look up his milestones. She followed me out to the car that day and told me those people were crazy, my son was just fine..he was just suffering from separation anxiety and he was also much younger than his classmates. (some were almost 3). So..needless to say, that was a really bad experience. Anyway..I am so concerned about him. We had Vacation Bible School last week. The 1st day, he ended up staying w/ the director the whole 2 hours. She said to bring him back and stay if I wanted too. That would defeat the purpose..he needs to know that I can't always be there, but that I will ALWAYS come back to get him. So his dad took him back the next evening...I left before time for him to go and told him daddy would take him, but I would be with daddy when it was time to pick him up. 15 mins after he got there, I got a phone call that he wouldn't stay in his classroom. Also, he won't watch any TV shows or movies that he isn't used too. He has been watching the Baby Einstein DVD's since he was a little thing..he will watch those, but not any Disney movies, etc. He literally freaks out if I try to put a "new" movie on and watch with him. I am concerned he may have an anxiety disorder??? He definitely is scared of the unknown and of change...any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated! Thanks so much for taking time to read this..I know I rambled on and on!!

  • My 3 and 1/2 yr old is sick. Going on day 17...vomiting @ night. Help!?

My 3 and 1/2 year old is vomiting, mainly at night. He has diarrhea as well. This is day 17.?

I have been to the pediatrician w/ him twice. He started this on Sat.May 30. He threw up that morning as soon as he got up..around 7 a.m. He had been at his nana's the night before for a while, so we just figured he had too much junk to eat. He was fine all the rest of Saturday and through Sunday..until the middle of the night, early Mon. morning around 2 a.m. Every since then, aside from a night or 2 here and there, he is up at night vomiting. Usually anywhere from midnight until 4. Not vomiting that whole time, the episodes usually start anywhere between those times. He has had diarrhea as well. They sent a sample of his stool to be tested. I am so worried. He has been healthy his whole life...and now he has been sick for 17 days. I am just looking for suggestions from anyone. I have researched tons online, but thought I would throw this out there and see what happens. Thanks for reading.

  • My son is taking things from me..what should I do?

Ok...so I have a 17 year old son. Recently, my mom, who takes tons of prescription narcotics, had an episode that landed her in the ER because she took too much of her meds. I now have her medicine in a lock box at my house and I bought her 1 of those days of the week pill boxes and fill it up for her weekly so she can't make any mistakes when taking her meds. Well last night I discovered that some of her xanax were gone. I confronted my son and he admitted to taking it. He got my husbands key to the lock box and got into the box and took some of my mom's pills. I am so angry w/ him. I am disappointed and shocked. I knew he had smoked pot a while back, but he has pretty much been on lock down since then..he also skipped school the day he smoked the pot...so he has been grounded. He just got off of restrictions last weekend and now he has done this!! I am at my wits end and very frustrated. Sometimes I feel like I need to watch my 17 yr old as if he were my 2 year old! Advice anyone??

  • Having car trouble..any suggestions?

I have a 1998 Chevy Cavalier. 2.2 liter. It has been running hot, we changed the water pump, serpentine belt, fan relay, fan fuse, oil and filter, and air filter. OK..it is still tunning hot, and the fan kicks on when I crank my car, then immediately shuts off, and won't come back on at all....not even when the car warms up and the fan is needed. There is no water in the oil, and no white smoke out of the tailpipe..tried "dollar bill on tail pipe method" didn't suck dollar bill up. Does anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks to anyone who takes time to read and answer this. Much appreciated!

  • I have a son who will be 3 in 4 months...?

my concern is..when it comes to nap time and bed tome he is starting to really try and stall, I know why he does this, he obviously doesn't want to go to bed. I am a SAHM and to be honest, the nap time is not a big deal so much, but at bed time, I am starting to run out of patience. Ppl, I am not saying that like I am gonna hurt him or anything (ppl on here are sometimes so cruel!!) I just mean I am frustrated and wondering if anyone has any suggestions of anything I can do, or is this just a phase? He doesn't come out of his room so much, more like he will pick out a book, we read it and then he will say "no, no..read Goodnight Moon" or whatever..I feel like he is just wanting to do anything to prolong the bedtime process. We read our book or 2 and then we get on our knees and say our prayers. Used too, he wanted to say them w/ his daddy and I, but he has since learned if he doesn't start when we do, that we will go ahead w/out him, and then he wants to say them, 1 more way to stall..
