  • Microsoft Office Excel?

I want to sort a list alphabetically in excel. The problem however is that while i want to sort column A alphabetically (A-Z) there is information about column A in subsequent columns (i.e. B-F contains information about what is in column A for that row). I want to know if there is any way to sort column A alphabetically and in doing so somehow link columns B through F to their equivalent column A.

  • Rock Band 2 for XBOX 360 Mic Problem?

the guitar and the drum set sync perfectly fine, but when you try and connect the mic it says "no microphone has been detected"

The mic is plugged into the USB slot on the XBOX 360 but it still doesn't find it. Is there some setup to follow for the mic that doesn't seem to be happening?

  • What is the name of this tool? It looks like something for graphic artist maybe?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykhSLNlx3n0

I am talking about the little pen they are using as a cursor to edit the small details

Other then this video, I have seen it a couple of other times before (possibly on American Chopper with their design artist). I was just looking for what the tool is called.

A website where I could look at them would be nice, but I would settle for the just the name really.

  • What is your favorite Olympic Moment?

With the Oympics around the corner I figured I would ask what is your favorite Olympic moment of all time? Maybe the Miracle on Ice in the 1980 winter olympics, Michael Phelps 6 gold and 2 bronze medals?

For me, a personal favorite is Derek Redmond running the 400m race in the 1992 summer games.

  • Is it legal to keep groundhogs as a pet in New Jersey?

Link me a website with any information please. I am just curious to see if you know anyone that keeps them as a pet, even not in New Jersey. I know it is legal to hunt them because there are plenty of them so it isnt really a threat to the population at all.

  • Looking for new artist with similar music?

I have always really loved the music of artists like John Mayer and Jack Johnson. And I was looking for information of Jack Johnson's new album, Sleep through the Static, on his website and came across Matt Costa. So, lately I have been listening to Johnson's new album, which i really like. And Costa also came out with a new album in January, Unfamiliar Faces, and another album of his Songs We Sing. I like all three of them a really lot.

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for new artist or bands that have similar music. I was told Ben Harper, but nothing of his has really gotten me interested yet. I ll keep trying him, but are there any other artist with similar music styles to Costa and Johnson?

    Thank you in advance

  • Astronomy and the Relativistic Doppler Shift?

Help with a homework problem, please?

Suppose that you'd like to find out if a distant star is moving relative to the earth. The star is much too far away to detect any change in its brightness as it moves toward or away from the earth. Instead we can use the Doppler effect to determine its relative speed. For this problem we are going to look at the spectral lines from hydrogen, specifically the one with a wavelength of 656.46 nm.

What is V(star) , the speed at which the star is moving relative to the earth?

  • Did anyone see the end to the Rutgers vs. Tennessee game?

Rutgers is ranked 7th in the nation and Tennessee is ranked first. And Rutgers was winning the game 58-57 with about 20 seconds left. And Tennessee took the ball all the way the court and missed their first shot and then Parker missed her shot with 2 seconds left. And then Tennessee got the ball and with .2 seconds left on the clock, the clock keeper just stopped the clock for no reason and roughly half a second after the game was over the ref called a foul on Rutgers. For some reason, even when the refs went backed and reviewed they didnt care that the clock was stopped and they called it a foul with .2 seconds. As it turns out, Tennessee made two free throws and won the game. Why didnt the refs review the play longer and realize that the game clock stopped before the game was over and before any foul was called. And im sure nothing will be done to change the outcome of the game...but im pretty sure the NCAA will be getting emails anyway.

  • why do we call them pairs of underwear?

Techinically, it is only one underwear. But when you buy underwear, you say that you are buying a pair of underwear. Is it an oxymoron then..."one pair of underwear"?
