What business do you have punting? To save face?
5 AnswersFootball (American)6 years agoisn't the Superbowl played in Arizona every year?
I know it was in NYC last year I'm being fececious. But seriously? Miami, New Orleans, Arizona seems like every other year. Why is the NFL ignoring the middle of the country. Sorry our climate sucks...
2 AnswersFootball (American)6 years agoafter mike pirieras explanation its clear to me that the NFL rule book is way too complicated.?
No wonder refs keep jacking up calls in big games during big moments. You need a team of lawyers and a grand jury decision to make calls based on the way the rule book is written. Tax law is easier to understand.
Thoughts?

Man I hate those guys with every fiber of my being. Whoever can beat them, that's who I'm rooting for. That's who I've rooted for for the past 15 years. Man I hate those guys.
7 AnswersFootball (American)6 years agoI was at a parade several weeks ago...?
Of course the politicians running in the midterms were represented by party and marching in the parade.
My wife pointed out a curious observation: The democratic candidates came over to the curb and freely gave my son some candy, the republican candidates made him get up and work for it.
True story...Thoughts?

17 AnswersElections1 decade agoBailout Bill.....................?
Does anyone know if there were line items attached to this thing? Could that have been why it failed? I don't know. I'm just pissed and I'm not quite sure what in the hell is going on. I feel the public was left in the dark about the finer aspects of this thing.
9 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy have we heard nothing of the Fair Tax?
Seems to me it could be an answer to a lot of our problems. Or is it because none of our politicians wish for smaller government?
3 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIs everyone too hellbent on presidential politics to realize we are quickly becoming socialist?
Even I was too naive to see it at first. I was on my own righteous revolution to try to get everyone to vote third party because our government has literally become too bipartisan to function, but now I realize there are bigger things at stake here in this election. Now that Obama has aligned himself with socialist views that are a blatant threat to our American way of life, I find dire need in making sure that Obama does not take office. If that means voting for McCain then so be it, whatever we do, we cannot afford to let the government get any bigger.
7 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWould a depression do America good?
Last time the U.S. had a depression, we came out of it with a generation who knew how to handle money, save, invest, and prepare for the future.
Right now we spend our money liberally, and all we do is waste, waste, waste.
And at the very least, if we had a nation on rations, we could finally do something about the obesity problem, and socialists would finally be happy because everyone would be just as poor as the next person.

At any job you work at, if at the end of your job evaluation you had below a 30% you would be fired.
Why are all our congressmen and the executive branch not fired?

9 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoBest way to alter the tuning on a 5 string bass?
I have a 5 string bass I in my band, but I am much more adept at guitar leads. My question is how badly would it mess with the stress on the neck if I tune the low B to a D.
What I would really like to do though, is tune it standard but instead of tuning it LowBEADG, I want to tune it to EADGB. I rarely ever use the low B partially because of positioning, but mainly because it is too low of a tone for the style we play. I also think I could get a funkier sound and more use out of what I have. Is this a good idea, or will it stress out the neck too much and throw the pickup positioning off?
