I am a developing stylist and would like to find a job in the DC Metro area that relates to the fashion industry. I. E. Fashion Magazines, boutiques, V.Merch., Assistant buyers.

Any advice or tips other than craigslist?

Friday My manager and her boss had a warning conference call on me being late to work. I explain to her that the cause of me being late (My car being worked on and me having to resort to public Transportation.) and the solution ( my car was being returned to me and that evening and me and my family have come up with a plan just incase my car breaks down again.)

She wants me to put this in writing.... I suspect to throw it in my face to fire me the next time I am late.

What should I write( not being to general so she cant hold it against me in the future)

ok so my fiance takes our car to Shell for an MD inspection, We failed due to what the mechanic says he "thinks" it "might" be a leak coming from the Power Steering Box..

I think its B.S. or might not be as big as assumed because the car drives and steers so smooth. Wouldn't I be able to detect that something might be wrong if there is an actual leak? Also he hits us with a price tag of about $1600 for parts, fee, and services. I found a power steering box for our car online for $400 something.

Is there a mechanic out their that might have an answer?

Im a girly girl, and only own 2 pairs of sneakers. Its time for a new pair....

I apologise that i have to write this to the mature readers, but recently I've had a few question games go wrong. I've had people write ignorant, judgemental comments on here.
