I live in Chicago Illinois. I make 11.94 an hour, 17.91 over time wage. And when I do double time wage of 23.88. I'm trying to figure out how I can make 1200 bi weekly after taxes and deductions. The main variable would be fed+state taxes and 401k which varys on taxes taken out and 401k taken out. If anyone knows is the taxes taken out in Illinois 15-16%. And how can I figure out how much more after 80 hours I would have to work to make 1200 each check. I claim 1 and nothing else, thinking of changing to zero. Also double time is rare so I am not really factoring that in. Ot and extra hours I am factoring in, at 4-8 hours each depending how many hours I can get weekly

in short it's a lower motor mount bolt on a 93 buick lesabre 3.8 engine. i had the correct socket on there but it was so rusted down and being underneath the mount i kept having to readjust the the ratchet it must have went on at a bad angle and stripped the head a few times. i managed to get it half way out before it got bad. i know a few mechanics know what i am talking about on this type of car, i am trying to get the water pump off, so no room for a torch or a drill. already tried a monkey wrench and a pair of vice grips. what else can i use. i been looking online and i seen a few tools like the gator grips and i think they are called turbo grips or turbo sockets. anyone know bout these tools or anything else i can use would be a big help.

i have a 1998 oldsmobile bravada 4.3 engine with the steel gas tank. now which is the better brand of fuel pump the precision or airtex. i haven't heard many good things about plus Airtex has a new wiring harness that you have to cut your original harness off and replace it with an Airtex harness. the precision pump has the original connection but you have to buy the strainer. my concern is which is the better brand for the money. i know delco is the best but you also have to replace the harness.my harness is good already checked the connection but i don't want to have to replace the pump after 6 months like some people have been saying about airtex and other brands. they said it about precision also so maybe it's just people neglecting their cars and suvs but it could be bad brands also. so any help would be great just finished for the night have everything ready for the install tomorrow.

it's a 98 olds bravada 4.3 engine. i have already done a pressure check and got no pressure reading. i checked the fuse and relay switch, the fuse was blown so i changed it and switched out the relay with same results. it just cranks, if i spray starter fluid in the throttle body it starts then dies. problem is i don't hear the fuel pump activate on and no whirling sounds when i listen at the fuel filler. before i buy and change the fuel pump i want to see if anyone knows what else i can check. in the haynes manual it says there is a red wire that i can jump start the fuel pump, but i haven't been able to locate it. it's supposedly on the drivers side in the engine compartment, if anyone knows where it's at it would help. or maybe it was for the 2.2 engine not sure.all i did was jack the truck up to look at the brakes i put it down and it wouldn't turn over just crank. gonna check the wiring to the pump maybe that got lose or something. any help would be great

it's a 98 olds bravada with the 4.3 engine. didn't know what the problem was at first, all i did was jack it up to check the brakes i lowered it down. when i went to back out the garage it just cranked and didn't turn over. i went through the truck checking everything, i sprayed some starter fluid into the throttle body, it turned over then died, it has fuel forgot to mention. after cranking and cranking it blew the ECM-b fuse, and stopped turning over. found the burnt fuse then replaced it, switched out the fuel pump relay i turned over then died . finally i realized i didn't hear any noise coming from the pump. checked the pressure and it never moved from zero, and no fuel coming from the schrader valve. so i guess a new pump is needed. but before i do is there anything else i should check before i put the money and time into it. like maybe there's a short to the pump, anyway i can jump start the pump to know for sure or is there anyway i could test if there's power going to the pump with a test light or multimeter. i looked in the haynes manual and it said there should be a red wire i could jump the pump with, i looked and didn't find anything under the hood where it said it should be. maybe it was referring to a different engine. any help would be good, just don't understand why the pump would just flat line when i never touched the engine that day. it ran fine earlier in the day no problems.

it's 98 olds bravada 4.3 engine. tune up has been done, and fuel filter is good. battery is working there is fuel in the tank. right now it just cranks and won't turn over, i checked and changed the fuel relay just in case. i got to check if it has spark but need someone to crank while i check so that has to wait. my worry is when i turn the key i don't hear the pump activate, i also hit the schrader valve to see if any fuel is getting to the rail and nothing squirted out. my thought is the pump might be going out but before i decide on changing out the pump would it not getting spark cause the pump not to activate. i would think it would be the relay but i changed it and it still just cranks. i sprayed the starting fluid in the throttle body it cranked and turned over for about a few seconds then died. so that makes me believe there is spark. could be wrong in my thinking so if anyone can help give me some info, don't want to take it to a shop if i don't have to and can do the work myself. is there a way to jump start the pump that would help if there is a short in the system. thanks

i changed my rims (lucky it was in the garage), when i went to start it all it does is crank but won't turn over. first, i already checked the battery, it has fuel, tune up has been done, fuel filter has been changed. i did nothing to the engine except an oil change about a month ago, everything i listed was done a few months ago before the summer. all i did was take off the rims and put the new ones on. problem is i don't hear the fuel pump activate. i switched out the relay and still nothing. hit the schrader valve and there's no pressure no fuel came out. i do have an intermittent problem with the ignition switch but it hasn't acted up in a while. about a year ago my truck did the same thing where it would crank but would not start, i messed with the steering wheel tilting it up and down and all lights went on and it started up. hasn't given me a problem til now. it cranks and will not start, my question is would the ignition switch cause there to be no fuel pressure and the pump not to activate. or is the pump going out now or the fuel pressure regulator going out. i do most of the work myself but i take it to somewhere if i don't know how to do something or i don't have the equipment. it ran fine earlier no problems, started and ran fine took it on some errands and came home and changed the rims, did not touch the engine at all. it's a 98 oldsmobile bravada 4.3 engine runs like a champ til today. i put some of that throttle spray in and it starts but dies out then just cranks. thought there was no spark but there is and the battery connections are good also i took them off and check and re tightened them. i'm at a loss, is there any way to maybe jump start the fuel pump to maybe get it to a shop if i change the ignition switch and it turns out not to be the problem. i bought one to change it out but had no time, and since it hasn't given me any trouble i figured i wait til this weekend since i have my vacation to do the work.thanks for the help. hopefully i won't have to take it to a shop

the truck is a 98 oldsmobile bravada. can't decide if i should get a set of gabriel, monroe or ac delcos. kind of thinking of not going with the gabriels cause i have some on the front but it is starting to lean to the side. which is better delco or monroe, or is there another brand worth looking at. also want to get some aftermarket tail lights, can't figure out if i should get the smoke colored light or the clear chrome tail lights. the truck is white so i was leaning towards darker colored. i looked on amazon and another site for deals, don't mind spending the money but i try to find deals here and there if i could find them. so if anyone can help with some opinions and maybe good places to buy these things it would help, and what would would good in the aftermarket tail lights. thanks

we have known each other close to a year. she does have a bf so it's not like i don't know this about her so it's no surprise. anyway she's had my # since we met but never used it until recently. so we been texting back/forth nothing serious just hi how you doing' catching up kinda talk. she is a very nice person n very beautiful so i don't want to confuse it for something other than kindness and being a friend. i like having her as a friend because we have fun together but i do have feelings for her, but like i said i know her situation. i have let her know that i am interested but i do respect she is in a relationship.

here is where it gets tricky. lately in the last few times we been at the same place, we be talking having some drinks and she will reach over and hold my hand like a bf/gf would normally do. n not for a few seconds it will be for long periods of time. when we see each other we greet wit a hug n kiss on the cheek which is normal but she was i guess in a really hugging mood cause she was really hugging me that day. any time she came around me she put her arms around me and just seemed like she really wanted to be held, so of course i held her. she also was wit some friends so we talked for a bit and she went back to her friends. but i noticed she was always looking around to see where i was, when we caught each others eyes she would wave and smile, she even started texting me hi and complimenting what i was wearing. i know we care about each other n have a lot of the same interests so we really get along. is there an attraction between us, i think so i think there has been since the first time we met. i really surprised her when i described what she was wearing the first time we met and what drink i bought her that day. she had a look like it was the nicest thing anyone has said to her. lately she has been a lil more flirty we both have i have to admit. she would cross her legs n rub her leg against mine or lean into me when we are talking so i could give her a kiss on the cheek. sometimes when she comes to sit with me she dances in front of me in a seductive way which i must admit gets me going. so help me out here ladies so is she interested or am i making this out to be something it isn't. i am getting the feeling that i should make a move she is a woman that i know is worth going for. help me out her ladies, are the things she does something you do when you are interested in a guy.

the media player only plays the sound and not a picture. is it a codec problem or is the media player not working correctly. if it's a codec problem where can i get free codecs

i have a few videos on my laptop i got from those blu ray - dvd - digital copy packs. my laptop is not working to great and i don't want to put money into it anymore. so i moved all my files to my phone and ps3 and flash drives. now the movies i was able to put on the flash drive n move to the ps3 but when i tried to play it it said unsupported data. how can i get it so the data is supported.

i have a few seasons of tv shows downloaded from netflix n amazon on my laptop. problem is my laptop is not in the best shape and it's not worth repairing anymore. so i backed up all my my music and photos on a flash drive n my phones memory card. i have 3 different tv series on my laptop each an hour long with 10-12 episodes with 5-7 seasons. i want to put them on a flash drive or on separate flash drives. as far as gb's which would be best 4,8,16,32,64 or 128gb. i'm thinking i'll probably use 3 different flash drives for each season. which would be the best flash drive to use as far as memory, and can i play them on a ps3.

what can help with this problem. i can't do any surgery until i get my insurance and i don't have sleep apnea and i'm not overweight. i'm going for training and will be sharing a room with a co-worker. i tried breath right strips and they r ok. i'm just looking to stop this before i go.

i just can't seem to set the picture settings on my vizio right. it's a 26in led 1080p flat screen model number e260mv. when i try to customize the settings they look either to dark or to bright or the color looks off. i want to set it so my picture looks good when i watch blueray movies or play my ps3. my settings in order are, backlight, brightness, contrast, color, tint, and sharpness. they all go from 0-100.

i have to buy a new phone and i have narrowed it down to 2. the htc merge and the motorola electrify. they both have the same features. they pretty much seem like the same phone except for screen size the megapixels and the htc has a keyboard. other than those small differences and price they both seem like solid phones. i'm really a motorola guy cause they have always been reliable for me. my last phone was a motorola crush which was a pretty good phone, but this will be my first touch screen with a data plan and internet and all the apps and stuff. so which is the better phone and keep in mind my carrier is u s cellular and i am sticking with them.

i have wi-fi in my house with a computer hooked up and my laptop picks up the signal, also my ps3 catches the signal so i can play online. now my psp will not take my wlan security setting key. my ssid shows up when i scan for it at 100%. i use a wpa-psk and i have the key for it. i type it in and i get a message that says, a connection error occurred. a connection to the access point could not be established. check the security settings for the network and try again. i used a connection that didn't have a key before and the internet worked, not to good cause the signal was low so it connects to the internet. so what can i do, and before you ask my wlan is turned on on the psp

what i'm looking for is something to have during lunch. here's my situation, i'm looking for something to help me gain weight and help me stay full at work because i work at an airport and run from flight to flight. so i'm getting some good cardio, and i'm also planning on going to the gym. pretty much i don't have time to sit down and eat lunch, and i am losing to much weight i want to get back up to 195-200 pounds i'm 5'10 and went down to fast to 180. i wanna get some stuff from gnc but don't know what i should get. as far as shakes for weight gain and a meal replacement for lunch. i need something in powder form so i can make it at home at take to work.

it's a 98 olds bravada 4.3 engine 96,000 mi. the batt,alt pulley all have been changed and checked. fuses all checked none burnt, and used a test light to check for shorts and nothing. oil changed, tune up done. no vacuum leaks, no frayed wires n batt cables are good. had ignition coil replaced. only thing i have in the truck is the alarm and its been in there since i bought the truck from the dealer. had 3 diagnostics and they found nothing. i'm out of ideas.the whole winter it didn't give me any problems, but when the weather warms up it started again. it's been a problem for over 3 years and i had the truck for five years now. so when i am driving the only thing i notice that happens all the time is the batt gauge will go down and pop back up and when it gets far enough down it will die out. i pull over and turn it off and re-start it and it would be okay. sometimes it took maybe three tries and then it would start. but lately now that its warmed up when it died out it would crank and not turn over but after a couple of tries it would turn over and be okay. but like always the gauge would go down pop up or would stay low and finally go down and truck would shut off. when its done it on the e-way i put it in nuetral let it coast and then started it and it would start up, like a push start. idk what else to check the fuel filter (changed) and pump (checked) are good. i think its electrical, maybe when its hot something in the charging system is overloading and shutting down. there is no check engine light on so no codes to read n i had it checked just to b sure. problem is it doesn't happen all the time so when i do take it in the pros can't find a problem and start guessing and wanting to change parts just for the hell of it hoping to get me back in to rape my wallet. so please anyone give me some good suggestions.
