  • Anyone know the name of this rap song?

I'm looking for the name of an old rap song I used to love. All the characters in the song were alcoholic beverages, bloody mary, gin and juice, etc. I think it's called 181 proof or something similar to it. If ya know it, please help me out. Thanks.

  • Book review suggestions for History classes?

I have to do a book review in two different classes this semester. One is for Colonial Latin American History and one is for History of the Middle Ages. I've been scouring the library, but thought I'd ask for suggestions. The books can be fiction or non, but they must deal with the time periods covered in each class. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

  • Do you think this is fair/ethical/legal?

At our weekly staff meeting, employees at my place of business were informed by head management that there have been reports to our General Office regarding employee's MySpace pages. We were all told that anything derogatory regarding the company or people who worked within that was displayed on an employee's MySpace page would be dealt with "harshly" up to and including termination. A fellow employee had, just days before, posted a blog venting about our place of business and certain management. She did not name names, she did not include the company name in her blog or anything of the like. My question is: can an employee be terminated because of what they do "off the clock" if it is not illegal? Bear in mind, I live in an "at-will" state, which means you are employed at the will of the employer and can be fired for no particular reason at all, so the law about it is a bit sticky. Thanks.

  • Please, only read/answer if you've finished Deathly Hallows...Spoilers Included?

Two points I'm unclear on...One: How did Neville come to have Griffyndor's sword...how did they get that back from the goblin? and two: When did the Wand of Elder choose Draco?

*Otherwise, I thought this was the best of the seven, I LOVED it and cried like a baby when it was revealed Snape cast the doe patronus (however it's spelled)*

  • How many people are tired of?

reading questions on here about Harry Potter? Don't get me wrong, I loved the books and am excited for the next one, but most of the questions asked about Harry Potter have been asked and answered a zillion times before. I'm sure this question has been asked and answered before.

  • Is there a show from your teenage years that you're still obsessed with?

I'm almost 28 and I'm still completely obsessed with My So-Called Life. I've seen every episode more times than I can count, I'm sure I have them memorized. But I can't help it. I still have a crush on Jordan Catalano. Just wondering if anyone else is still fascinated/obsessed with shows from their younger days?

  • I'm just wondering, for my own personal knowledge, how many of you are like this?

When making a sandwich, how many of you think like I do? That condiments (mustard, mayonnaise, etc.) should not ever touch the cheese...condiments should rest soley on the meat side of the sandwich. Furthermore, do you agree that mustard should be used for ham and roast beef whereas mayonnaise should be reserved for turkey and chicken? I know it's odd, but my friend and I were discussing this the other day and we discovered that we have the same odd proclivities regarding sandwiches. I was just curious what other people thought. And yes, I know it's weird to be concerned about where the condiments are on a sandwich, but I am. Thank you for your time.

  • For those of you who watched Heroes tonight (10-16-2006)?

Can you tell me the name of the actor who played Nathan Patrelli's (Adrian Pasdar) aide or assistant? He was the young black man that Patrelli is talking to when Mohinder Suresh approaches them. He is bald and was wearing sunglasses. I can not for the LIFE of me think of where I've seen him before, and it's driving me crazy. Thanks!

  • A show I watched in School as a child...?

but I can't remember the name of it, and no one seems to know what I'm talking about. I think it's something like "read all about it," All I remember is, a group of kids had their own neighborhood paper and they solved 'mysteries' around their neighborhood. They had a talking typwriter and other inaminate objects that moved and talked. Anyone remember this???
