    Adding a c-wire to a mastertrol system.?

I have a mastertrol HVAC system. I would like to install a new thermostat with wifi abilities. There is no c- wire. Each zone thermostat has extra wires in the bundle. Can I connect an extra wire from the each of the 3 thermostat bundles to the c terminal as seen on the bottom left of the diagram to act as a c- wire? If not, can I get a c-wire plug in adapter in the basement to power all 3 zone thermostats by connecting an unused wire to it and then the c terminal on the thermostat? I just don't want to have an adapter plugged into the wall and connected to each of the three thermostats if I don't have to.

  • Looking for piping fix for an old toilet.?

I have a really old toilet that has a separate bowl and suspended tank. I needed new parts on the inside as things have rotted away. They do not make replacement parts, but I was able to remove the original. The only problem is that I need to now replace the piping that connects the tank to the bowl as its not high enough to couple with the tank and leaks at the wash connected to bowl. I'm having a tough time figuring it out. I think its ~2 1/4 inch pipe but I could be off by a little bit.

I'm restricted by the toilet's size since its in a small bathroom and a new one would require breaking down walls. Any thoughts on how I can do this? Do they make flex pipe that big? PVC?

  • Watch battery for my fossil watch?!?

I have a FS4364 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001B19XJ6/?tag=2... and I took out the batter to get a replacement. I lost the battery in my travels and I don't know what size to get. I can't find it anywhere on the web. Does anyone have this watch and knows what size battery?

  • Transmission on a 2002 Cavalier question...?

I have a automatic 2002 chevy cavalier with about 135k miles. I was driving for about an hour yesterday (back roads) and didn't notice until I went on the highway that it seems like I can't shift out of 3rd gear. I'm not able to go any faster than 45-50 mph and when I give it more gas at that speed, it stops responding. I'm not able to get RPMs above 2.5k-ish unless I'm in neutral. I'm not getting any warning lights or anything else coming up on the dashboard.

I'm curious if this could be a quick fix type problem or if I'll need a new transmission or what. I'll have to find some cash to take it in this week, but I'm interested in what you guys think might be the problem and I guess what the price tag may look like.

    Thanks!

  • Car battery troubles...?

I have a 1999 Chevy Lumina. This time last year I was having a lot of battery problems where I had to jump the car every few days. I replaced the battery and things have been fine until now. I left the car, with the last trip being 60 miles, for 3 weeks without starting it. The battery was completely dead when I tried to start it again. It took over an hour for AAA to get it running again. I let it run for 45 mins then cut the engine. When I tried it just now, the battery is dead again. I have to admit that last year I purchased a cheap Walmart battery (the one with a 3 yr warranty) because I didn't expect to keep this car longer than that. Do you think its the battery? Is it worth changing it myself, or can there be problems with the wiring etc. that a mechanic should address? Any other ideas?

  • Blood pressure pills without a prescription?

I'm without insurance and without a prescription for my Propranolol. I've started looking into foreign pharmacies but many require an doctor's order and others don't quite look legitimate. Has anyone been in a similar situation and found a place that works?

  • Does my landlord need to reimburse me for the time when my only bathroom is being remodeled and usable?

  • How do I fix my electric hedge trimmers?

I have a black and decker (forgot the model). The blades froze a few days ago while not being actively used. The motor still gives effort, but it doesn't seem to have enough power/torque to get the blades going. I loosened the blades and cleaned and greased the movable parts inside, but still nothing. Any ideas?

  • Car making a noise...

I own a 2002 Cavalier with 80,000 miles. Recently it has been making a humming noise when I excelerate. The gears shift appropriately, maybe at a little higher RPM then usual. The car idles fine and there is no problems noticed when I get up to speed. I was hoping someone would have an idea about the cause so I don't get screwed when I take it to a mechanic. Thanks!

  • Inground Pool Piping Question?

I will be opening my inground pool soon and last year my vacuum port stopped working and I ended up having to use the skimmer port for the rest of the season. The piping to the vacuum is a straight shot to the pump of about 20 ft or so. It has probably collapsed do to age and I wanted to repair it before I open. What type of piping would be the best to use in this situation? PVC from HomeDepot or is there a better method?

    Thanks!!

  • Who will join me?

So looking up some statistics on the Green House Effect on government websites and found out this:

The composition of Green House Gas -

0.2% is caused by man-made polution (including CO2)

    0.6% plants breathing out CO2

    ~3% from other boi-processes

    95% from water vapor

Who is going to be with me in going one step beyond liberals to curb global warming. Screw the 0.2%, help me cut back on that 95% by not taking steaming showers. Steam floats out of the bathroom into the atmosphere. The cold water will simply stay liquid.

  • Global Warming - Really Happening?

Global warming has aquired a bandwagon effect which attracts movie stars and ex-vice presidents, all of which have no scientific specialty or ability to interpret data. I was curious if anyone has taken the time to truly investigate the data or studies to see if they are flawed.

I have heard that warming has slowed in the last 25 years in comparison to the first 25 years after 1950. I have seen a graph (can't remember where) but it looked like it was curving almost parabolically as if there was an ice age approaching. I have also read an article that talks about how the temperature readings for most studies are conducted near major cities. The growth of these cities in the last 50-75 years can explain the minute temperature increases.
