  • Good musical audition songs?

I am auditioning for Les Miserables for the roll of Eponine. The auditions are purely singing. They give you a song to sing (for Eponine it is On My Own) and they ask you to provide a song from 16-32 measure from another Broadway musical and I am having trouble coming up with one :/ I just know too many. I am an alto that can reach all the way to metzo. I just can't sing high soprano.

    Any help?

  • What is this book called?

I don't remember much of this book. I read it about 2 years ago, but I was watching something and it brought to mind bits and pieces of this book, but I can't remember what it is!

Ok, so I'm pretty sure the main character is a girl. she has sailed around alot (I think with her dad) and something happened to where she was alone and wound up in a city. I don't remember if she went to a boarding school or what, but I do remember her and some other girls being taken by pirates. They are school aged kids and the girls that she was with were rich, high-end girls who didn't know how to survive in that enviroment. They are stuck inside the ship given minimum treatment and she eventually gets all the girls to play along while she thinks of a way to escape.

I do remember that at the night that they were going to escape, she got caught by one of the pirates and he was baically going to rape her before someone (I don't remember who) either stopped him and /or killed him.

I don't know if this was much help, but if you know what this book is, please tell me!!!! Thanks!

  • Can unpacking boxes at work cause you to have a severe cough?

I'm not a person to get sick often, so when I do, I normally can tell what it's coming from, but not this time. I had started a new job (I unpack boxes for 8 hours for a business basically) and after a week or two I started to get sick.

Now, coughing might not seem bad, but this is bad. They are really hard coughs that come very frequently (every 5-30 minutes). After most of them, I have difficulty breathing and sometimes the coughs are so bad that I actually do throw up.

Anyway, I had gone to the doctor last week and she gave me an inhaler and some meds to help out. I only worked 1 day after that, and it had nothing to do with unpacking boxes. Over the weekend I felt great, I was barely coughing, I kept taking my meds, and I thought I was getting better.

That is, until this morning. When I woke up I was great and I felt great still after going to work 2 hours later. However, we were unpacking boxes today and barely an hour into it, my coughs came back in full swing and I eventually had to be sent home. I've been away from it for a while now and the effects are gone.

Is there anyway that Styrofoam, cardboard boxes, or anything else could cause these coughs?

    Thanks ahead of time!

  • Question about the new Death Note movie coming out?

There is a new Death Note movie coming out in 2014 and I believe it is America making it with rumors of Johnny Depp playing L.

    Anyways, here is my question.

Would this Death Note be a remake of the anime? Or would it be a remake of the two Japanese movies?

There is a difference if you have watched both. Because honestly, even though I love how they ended the second movie, I hated how they made the main character ten times for evil then in the show......

So, does anyone know which remake it will be?

  • What do I do about near-syncope?

I have been having it a lot lately due to emotional stress. I was told by the ER to go to a doctor and have a follow up so I could get treatment for it. However there are a few problems,

    1. I have no time to go to a doctor.

    2. I have no doctor.

    3. I have no money for a doctor, and

    4. I have no insurance.

I'm in a musical, so it's really not good for me to constantly be getting weak and collapsing. I'm trying to not get emotional too much, but are there any other suggestions as to what I could do? Because, at this point, I can't be getting meds for this......

  • How do you cure a massive ear ache?

My mom has one and it's right where the ear canal connects to the jaw on the left hand side. We don't know if it's a sinus infection, ear infection, cavity, or what. My mom would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

  • How do I make a set look like it's in the 50's?

I've been working on a project for a week. We were given a script. Basically you need a living room, a den, a kitchen, and stairs. It needs to look 50's styled as well (since I picked it because the script matched it.) I'm having a tough time. Any suggestions on what kind of colors, shapes, couches, chairs, etc. that I should use?

I would greatly appreciate it, thank you

  • What play should I use?

I'm going to be in a competition for set designing. There is no stipulations on the play, I just need to create two different models (one on paper and an actually mini model). I'm having a hard time coming up with a play and I would like to get started soon. The competition itself is December 1-3, but I don't want to be rushed.

Please give ideas for a play I should use?

  • What movie is this quote from?

    "Good Night Sweet Prince"

It's not the one from Hamlet. I know it has the quote in it, but this is also from something else.

It's said by a guy in more of a sarcastic tone, but I just can't figure it out :/
