  • Has anyone ever heard of a "bingo" cat?

My sis in law is thinking of buying/adopting one, and I told her to walk away. Supposedly it's a striped cat with big ears and big paws and really short hair, 6 to 8 weeks old, and supposedly its fixed and declawed. I told her it all sounded like a load of BS. Anybody ever hear of anything like this?

  • Why do so many people here hate backyard breeders?

Here is a shining example of the "quality" crossbreeds to be had at such a reasonable price... Note how almost all her dogs look like they want to eat the camera. The broken headlight on the pickup in front of the trailer is a nice touch.

  • Toddler afraid to poop in the potty?

3 years old and trying to potty train, she does very well when she has to tinkle, stayed dry all day today...but when she has to poop, she gets herself all worked up and will not relax enough to let nature take its course...so she holds it and holds it until she ends up pooping in her pants. Anybody else dealt with this? What helped? Thanks

  • Why is it that nobody can type "pet food recall" in the Internet Explorer search bar?

I mean really...every 5 minutes someone asks "is my pet's food on the recall list?" Why don't you LOOK at the list instead of expecting someone here to do it for you?

  • Do you think the Barf diet is a good idea?

Because if you do, you should read this article. Oops, the risk of disease, to humans and pets, from feeding raw foods IS real after all.

  • Cats in heat questions....the first sign of spring?

Ahhh, the days are getting longer and all these people are discovering the "joy" of kitty's first heat. Is it just me, or does this make you long for warm weather?

  • Picky eater with hairballs, fishing for ideas?

He is a 3 1/2 year old strictly indoor neutered male DSH. He was a bottle fed orphan, so he has some issues. He vomits up hairballs or partially digested food with hairballs and has done this for almost 2 years now. I have tried changing his food, he will only eat dry kibble that is round and flat. Currently he is on Purina Proplan Indoor cat formula, and that has cut the hairballs down from almost daily to about once every three days. If I mix anything in with his food, he will eat around it and refuse to eat anything that's "contaminated". I've tried hairball medicines, hairball treats ground into a powder, canned pumpkin, butter.... he won't eat any of it. I've syringe fed hairball medicine, he vomits it up. Putting hairball medicine on his fur makes him freak out and I end up cleaning it off of the walls. He won't eat any Hill's or Science Diet food. It's not worms, blood chemistry and CBC all normal. HELP!!!! I've tried all the tricks I know... need some new tricks : )
