  • Have you seen where Rosie O'Donnell called the US troops terrorists on "Her View"?

She goes on in her rant to blame the US troops for all 655,000 (not sure where she got that number, and neither is she) Iraqi civilian deaths during the war, and includes Giuliani in her conspiracy theory on 9/11. What will it take for ABC to fire this hack?

  • Can we flag Hanoi Jane's question as spam?

Since it's really just there to promote her movie that's coming out soon? I couldn't help but notice the advertisements looming all over the page when you click on the question.

Reminds me of the "I've got an answer for your question... now check out my geocities page" spammers.

  • Didn't Rosie say that fire couldn't melt steel on The View?

If that's the case then I wonder if the libs are working on any conspiracy theories yet about Bush causing the Bay Area freeway collapse?

  • Are contest giveaways legit anymore?

Have you heard of anyone winning anything lately?

Remember when you could win something simply by looking under your soda cap, sometimes just another soda but it was still cool. It either said... (you won "xxxx") or (sorry, please try again). Now it says "Go online and enter this code xxxxxx" And then you do and you get this... "Wait, you have to register first..." And then they want all this personal info; name, address, daytime phone, e-mail, etc... and "would you be interested in any of these special offers?" Same thing with the Taco Bell "El Presidente" giveaway... what a bunch of crap!!! Are these contests even legit anymore? I never hear of anyone winning them, I bet people don't even take the time to see if they've won anymore. And even if the contest is legit, and they do award winners... all that information gathering just doesn't seem legal. Even telemarketers aren't that prying.

  • Why is there such a contrast between these two spiritual leaders when it concers war and violence?

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17999831/

In his Easter address Pope Benedict XVI called for peace. In every part of his speech he urges negotiations and talks toward peace. And to end the fighting in all parts of the world, including the middle east.

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18005279/

In contrast cleric Muqtada al-Sadr urged the Iraqi army and police to stop cooperating with the United States and told his guerrilla fighters to concentrate on pushing American forces out of the country.

“God has ordered you to be patient in front of your enemy, and unify your efforts against them — not against the sons of Iraq,” the statement said, in an apparent reference to clashes between al-Sadr’s Mahdi Army fighters and Iraqi troops in Diwaniyah, south of Baghdad. “You have to protect and build Iraq.”

So as a cleric is he a prophet as well... that he knows what God is commanding Muslims to do?

  • Why did the democrats campaign on an end to the "Do Nothing Congress?

And then advocate doing nothing and taking a vacation rather than working on keeping our troops overseas funded.

"Senate Majority Leader-Elect Harry Reid Said ... He's Doing Away With The 'Do-Nothing Congress' That Democrats Campaigned Against And Plans To Keep Senators Working Long Hours..." (Nedra Pickler, "Prepare To Work Longer Hours, Democratic Leader Reid Tells Senators," The Associated Press, 11/28/06)

"In A Powerpoint Presentation ...[Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL)] Laid Out Several Examples Of Responses Lawmakers Could Use If They Are Attacked For Going Home Without The Military Funds Being Finalized." (John Stanton and Erin P. Billings, "Recess War Of Words Set on Iraq," Roll Call, 3/29/07)

And don't blame Bush... he hasn't even seen the Bill yet so his veto threat is irrelevant at this point... He told them he would pass if they took out the time table so the ball in the Dems court, not his.

  • Can the lib/dems still use global warming as a campaign platform?

Now that scientists are acquiring data that shows that other planets are experiencing "Global Warming" just as we are.

I think unless the dems find an SUV spewing greenhouse gasses on Mars soon their conspiracy theory is blown.

  • Why is the Dems website so segregated?

I notice on the "People" pulldown they have everyone seperated by race... is this really how they view America now? We're no longer a melting pot of "Americans" but instead are American tribes seperated by our skin color or ethnical background? Americans don't vote for their legislation based on race, we all vote together... so why should the issues listed here be seperated by race when they effect all of us?

  • Why is the Dems website so unproffesional and rhetoric filled?

I checked out http://www.democrats.org/ and found a whole lot of the same rhetoric and partisan attacks that you see in the media. Is this really what the dems are about? They focus as much if not more on what the GOP is doing than their own issues.

  • Should the Yahoo Answers Staff have to give you an explanation when they delete your answer or question?

I have had a couple of answers deleted that I honestly couldn't figure out what guideline I had violated. Shouldn't they have to give you an brief explanation of what guideline your violated? I'm not even sure they look at it when it is flagged, and the lack of an explanation seems to support that.

  • Remember the nuclear secrets that were leaked to China?

In Dec. 1999 Wen Ho Lee was charged with improper handling of restricted data, to which he pleaded guilty as part of a plea bargain.

Did you know that last year On June 3, 2006, the U.S. federal government and five media organizations (the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, ABC News, and the Associated Press) announced they would jointly pay Lee a total of $1.6 million to settle allegations that government leaks violated his privacy.

Are you kidding me? Wen Ho Lee pleaded GUILTY to one felony count of improperly downloading Restricted Data. In return, the government released him from jail and dropped the other 58 counts of illegally downloading classified data from the computers at the Los Alamos weapons lab, of which 39 counts would have carried a life sentence for violating the Atomic Energy Act and for stealing nuclear secrets with the intent of harming the U.S. He should be serving a life sentence and instead we just made him a millionaire.

  • What do you think about Iran's capture of the 15 UK Naval officers?

Iran has done it before in June 2004, 8 British sailors were blindfolded, paraded on television and subjected to mock executions before they were safely returned. Sounds a lot like the taliban huh?

Also, what do you think would have happened if those had been American sailors that were captured.

  • Why does Hillary think that it is legal to steal profits from a privately owned business?

And use them to fund some gov't pet project.

From her Question on the main page - "Hillary Clinton is planning to use excess oil company profits to invest in alternative energy."

With any good business that is to be profitable and successful, any increase in opperational costs is passed on to the consumer as an increase in price. It's a "Business", not a "Charity". If they add more taxes to the oil industry, it will simply trickle back down to the consumers and the American taxpayer will be funding the "Alternative Energy Investments".

"We will make it absolutely clear" that oil companies who simply boost gas-pump prices to offset the tax will be prosecuted, State Administration Secretary Mike Morgan told legislators who opened their review of Doyle's 2007-'09 budget."

Will all this legislation forces them to stop selling to us?

If it were me I would simply take my business elsewhere... it's a bad policy and as unconstitutional as eminent domain.
