i have xp and IE7 and have cox security suite for protection ,mcafee catches it everytime then i remove it but is it really gone?is there something else i can use also to

the dvd cd I am using is a maxell dvd-r..I tried burning it from movie maker and windows media and a few other programs but it wont let me burn it to a dvd cd.am i doin something wrong or what.Is there something i need to do or what?Help i dont know how to fix it.want to be able to play it on my tv dvd player

windowa movie maker wont let me put my picture with music on a cd.everytime i put n the blank cd its says it has had a error on cd spits it back out.i know the cd is blank .and its the right kind of cd.is there nethang i can do.or does any1 else know another program i can burn it from?i also tried it from windows media palyer it wont.sayss disk has a error.
