  • Can someone help me identify these spots and a treatment?

First, I don't have any income, thus no insurance, so don't immediately tell me to go to the doc. I will do so if I positively, absolutely have to if there are no alternatives. Second, I noticed these...rashes? bites?...a few days ago. The spots feel and look like bug bites or rashes, but I have no idea what would cause such an outbreak. I'm not really allergic to anything as far as I've known so far except wasp and bee stings. So if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Don't worry, they're "clean" / "safe" images. I also apologize for the quality, I don't have the best cam, but it's so much better than the one I used to use. Anyway, on to the pics.

  • Sky rapidly changed colors...?

So several years ago, maybe about 15 -- mid 90s somewhere -- I was at a friend's house and while we were outside, the sky suddenly started rapidly changing colors, solid colors -- and by rapidly, I mean every half second or quicker -- and it was a random pattern. As for the colors, you name it, it was probably there. It was like there was a light show in the sky, but I don't remember there being any type of vehicle, craft or equipment that could be seen at the time and there was absolutely no lightning or sound coming from it. I know it wasn't an aurora either. It also seems I'm the only one that remembers this phenomenon. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like that? I tried searching online for anything similar but found nothing so far. I put it in the Weather category because I wasn't sure where else to put it due to the nature of the phenomenon.

  • FREE HP Pavilion ze4400 Keyboard and Battery...?

I have an HP Pavilion ze4400 notebook computer I acquired from a friend. It's missing the E key (the E 'button' still works) and the battery. Unfortunately I can't afford a new keyboard or battery for the thing. Does anyone out there have a keyboard and battery I can have for FREE or know of any place I can get them like maybe for trade or something?

  • Two Movies I Can't Find?

Let's try this again, I asked before, but no real response: So there are 2 movies I can't find, and only remember one of the names of, I think. The one I believe is called Our Expanding Universe where a man wanders through the desert meeting random people and they have philosophical conversations. The second one is where this group of people meet on an island and go through I believe a castle or something like that and talk about the different aspects of the devices found and life, etc. If anyone can direct me to these movies, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Information About Darklore Manor?

Ever since I got Nox Arcana's CD Darklore Manor, which is based off the [now non-existent] Darklore Manor near Salem, MA, I have been dying to learn more about it. The only problem is, I can only find what's posted on their site, a blurb on Wikipedia, and a couple other small articles. Can anyone find or does anyone know where to find more information about this dark abode? Any information (besides what's already mentioned) would be greatly appreciated. I feel drawn to this place for some unknown reason. (Put under Mythology & Folklore for lack of a better subject as it's best suited.)

  • Read my story and comment . . .?

I've been writing a story off and on for a while now. I have about 20 pages. It still needs a lot of work, obviously as it's a work in progress, but I just would like some comments about it. (It's in PDF, so you'll need a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.) Here's the story link: http://www.geocities.com/catwulf/Kina2.pdf

  • Double Conjectures - Grammatically Correct or Not - You Decide?

Properly used, conjectures are spelled with apostrophes (couldn't, don't, etc.). With that, people talk in double conjecture terms, so why wouldn't it also be grammatically correct to use double conjecture punctuation (couldn't've - couldn't have - could not have, wouldn't've - wouldn't have - would not have, etc.)? I mean, it makes sense, right?

  • Why the term terrific?

If terrible is bad and terrify / terrorize / terror is to scare / make scared, how did the the term terrific come to mean that something is great or fantastic and other synonyms instead of that something is scary?
