In the Holy Quran, God speaks about the stages of man's embryonic development, 1,400 years before modern day scientists 'discovered' important information on creation of man and his development:

We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed. Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech, suspended thing, and blood clot), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed-like substance)...[Holy Quran 23:12-14]

Literally the Arabic word alaqah has 3 meanings:

leech

suspended thing

blood clot

1. "In comparing a leech to the embryo at the alaqah stage, we find similarity between the two." [The Developing Human p.8].

"Also, the embryo as this stage obtains nourishment from the blood of the mother, similar to the leech which feeds on the blood of others." [Human Development as Described in Quran and Sunnah p.36].

Thanks all of you for all the dua'as you had made for me for all my exams. Alhamdulillah praise and glory be to Allah all my exams are literally over. Well one more exam i got food technology (damn dont know why i took that lol) but i dont really count that as an exam lol. I think that it would show how tolerant we are of other religions to build a large Mosque for people to worship at. Those who say that it would incite violence give not only christians, but a large part of England, a bad name. So I urge you to sign this petition, whatever your religion, as long as you belive in tolerance.

I live in UK and im really stuck on whether i should take up Further maths or not. The thing i heard is universities dont really look at further maths as a seperate A level but they more likely see it as just MATHS so it would be the same for both. Whats the actual point and what do i take? Please i need a lot of help from you people and i have to think about this from people's opinion and my own experience so i wish you people help me out. Ive always thought that atheists are clever people because they dont blindly follow their parents or anyone else. But my question is if you think there is no God.. how did the universe come into existence( i know well about the big bang theroy and the Quran talks about it as well) but the big bang theory suggests it came out of nowhere basically the collision of dust particles... if your saying that explosion created the universe, then how can anyone believe that.. because explosions are knowns to DESTROY things and not create. And another thing is how can DNA and RNA come into existence at the same time? How did the first ancestor actually come out of.. as the theory suggests life came out of a non living thing (ABIOGENESIS)... how is that logically possible??? Please no stupid answers. So the stupid ones stay out

The palestinians are dying and fear death in their evevryday of life. What kind of life is that? The 7 year old son loses his mum and cries with her blood on his face.. would anyone care to look after him... NO and what do many ignorant people say or ask WHY ARE MUSLIMS TERRORISTS... its like you let a your guest stay in your house for 2 days and the 3rd day he kicks you out of your own house and demands its his house and when you go in with a knife threatening him to go out he calls you a TERRORIST.. How fair is that... brothers and sisters i dont know why many of the people are still blinded like this.. Women are being raped in prisons thinking they've tried to do suicide bombing ... where on earth did rape come from... The iraqi's are dying... OKAY maybe one or two are idiotic people killing people in the name of ISLAM but how does that include all the muslims.. No one blames christianity for hitler killing 6 million jews.

What do you think of treating your parents particularly your mum in the aspects of your relegion or belief. According to my relegion (islam)... the mother is a person of very high honour. The prophet Muhammed (pbuh) has said.. paradise lies at the feet of your mother.. What is your thought about that saying of the prophet even though your a muslim or not...

Would you care for your mother like how you care for your wife /husband or will you care more?

If there was a problem between your parents and your hubby/wifey... would you go along with your partner or your parents or would you try to solve the problem?

I think after my relegion my only gift is my mother... i love her more than anyone even more than my dad....
