If you could tell someone off right now who would it be and why?

I realize this is going to come off snide and I don't intend it to but I am truly curious.And apologise ahead of time if it seem's like I'm being snide.But I am trying to understand this better..

Why do most Christian's think they have the right to claim Christmas when in fact its mainly a "Pagan" holiday?And why don't they give credit to the religion whose traditions they are following?

Is that not a hypocracy in and of itself?

Should we congradulate Jamie Lynn Spears for being responsible enough to take on the role of a young mother?I realize she could've always decided to have an abortion.

And while we're at it should we congradulate her on becoming yet another negative statistic among teen youth?

Whats your thoughts on this situation?

Do you think it would be appropriate to teach middle school children self defense during gym period?We teach our children not to speak with strangers we teach them to scream when a stranger approaches them or touches them.Would it be appropriate to teach them how to defend themselves because sometimes screaming just isn't effective or enough?

Some life lessons are recurring such as patience and strength.What life lesson are you currently learning or repeating and how are you learning it and how are you benefiting from it.And what life lesson if any do you hope to avoid?

Why do our children feel the need to bring weapons to school to deal with the bullies.The #1 reason for school shootings in our society is bullying.Why isn't the school system dealing with bullies and why are other children that aren't getting bullied reporting bullies to teachers,counselors or vice principal and principals?

Are we teaching our children to hold it in and keep taking it until the only way they feel they can handle it is through shooting and killing said bully or harming said bully in a different manner?

Should we be teaching our children in a semester course how to deal with bullies when its acceptable to report a bully and how?Even if they themselves are NOT a target of a bully?Do you think this would change things for the better?Have we come this far that a semester class in bullying and how to deal with it is neccessary?Should it be a mandatory class and should we fight for this in our schools starting in grade school and a class per grade through high school?

With violence happening so often in schools across the country.Children 12 and under bringing weapons to school with the intent to harm one or more students and teachers.When should parents be held accountable for their children's actions?

When a child 12 and over gets a gun from their home with the intent to kill should the parent/s be held accountable for their children's actions.I realize parent/s of these children have to live with the actions of what their children have done like the parents of the Columbine High School boys and the more recent 14 yr old boy in Cleveland Ohio, but living with the results of their actions is that enough in your opinion.Is that enough to make you as parent/s or even young adults feel secure in your environment?Do you think the parents of these children should be punished as accessories to their children's crime/s?Especially if said weapon/s came from their own home?
