Car won't start without a jump, drove for 1/2 hr; turned car off and it will still not start-won't even turn over. Don't want to buy a battery if a bad alternator will drain it; but no dash/need service lights are on. It was at the dealership last week for a gas tank valve and a cam sensor-no codes then either. Do I start with battery or alternator???

In all the pictures you see of what prehistoric man is assumed to look like (you see him going from ape-ish to human); he always has short hair and no beard......is the assumption he cut his hair somehow? It broke off? Why is he always shown to be clean shaved? Wouldn't he have a beard to his knees? He always seems to have a nice cropped haircut. Was it like fur that did not grow, like an ape?

I have heard of people reading shampoo bottles for lack of reading material; should you take reading material with you? Is there something else you do to pass the time?

I heard about this on the news this morning. I can't believe they can make a flu shot mandatory! How is this legal? I understand they could make it a strong suggestion if you were working in the medical field, but the shot is neither proven to cure or keep you from getting the seasonal flu!! AND it has many side effects for many people!

Is there legal recourse to this action for the fired employees?

Can dogs recognize when humans are related to each other?

Is there such a medicine that reduces existing build up? Does diet reduce build up? Exercise?

Looking for advice from the teenagers here.....My daughter is a very smart girl, just very unorganized. From grade school on she forgets her homework, or it is in her locker, or she put it in the wrong folder...She never turns in her homework! I watch her do it every night (assignments are online), check it, see her put it in her backpack and leave for school. She has no absences. In grade school, they would always just let her go get it or turn it in late. High school is a different story. She is flunking algebra! She has been grounded forever, no change. What would make you change?

Married 18 years, husband cheated in year 11....I forgave, but did not forget; I never accused him anymore, never brought it up again, trusted completely again. It was a "friend" and it went too far (only once). Found out recently he cheated again, but it is over. He fully had an affair, said he loved her, affair lasted over 1 year, he was planning to leave me for her but she dumped him for a different married man.

My question is: now he says he realizes he wants the marriage to work, it was just a mid-life crisis, etc.

Do I stay and believe that he was "sick" when he broke his vows to me? Or do I break my vow to him of "until death do we part" and file for divorce. I have no desire to stay until he does this again, but what if he really does realize what he has done and wants to be together forever? I need a religious viewed answer to this problem. I don't believe in divorce, but am not able to take anymore heartbreak. We have a teenage daughter, family is everything to me.

I know girls aren't supposed to wear white to a wedding, and I would think they aren't supposed to wear black.....the invitation states the wedding is formal, so come dressed as formally as you feel comfortable.....kinda vague-I know I can't wear my Levis..... Long gown with sequins? Short little black dress? I have a 13 year old daughter who is also invited.....what is appropriate??
