I have a ''weak" astigmatism RX.

Currently with poly lenses, I am having issues adapting due to depth perception and weird 'slanting' of objects. Optometrist revised the rx for a weaker one which should be easier to adapt to according to him.

In addition, he requested I switch from poly to cr-39 because some people would find poly to be bothersome. Is this common? why can poly be bothersome vs cr-39?

Never had glasses. Have had two exams done, with different RX.

RX1 (I have glasses with this RX done):

OD. Sphere:PL, Cylinder: -1.00, Axis 130

OS. Sphere:-0.25, Cylinder: -0.75, Axis: 050

With these glasses. There is a sharpness improvement, but, there are shape distortions.

A rectangle looks like a trapezoid. A circle like an ellipse. It feels as if a part of the rectangle is out of plane and inclined more towards/away from me. This also changes depth perception, if I look at my feet, I "feel" smaller.

RX2:

By chance I walked into a different office and had an exam done. They confirmed I had some astigmatism. However, their RX is different (the numbers are).

OD. Sphere:+0.25, Cylinder: -0.75, Axis: 110

OS. Sphere:+0.25, Cylinder: -0.50, Axis: 55

Are there significant differences between both prescriptions? I am requesting an appointment with my original doc (RX1) to be seen again.

Things do look "clear", that is, they have more definition. If I look at the TV, the edges of things are clearer.

I can walk, run, jump pain free. But when some pressure is aplied to my kneecap (even by touching it) it hurts a lot, it actually feels like it stings.

Is this chondromalacia?

Next to it, there is a planter, so when you remove the mulch, it is possible to see underneath the walkway. And it appears it is 'floatting' over the gravel. It is possible that the walkway is cantilevered from the basements wall, but I cant see that far. I fear that the ground might have settled leaving the sidewalk just floating. Is this possible?

I fertilized with the scotts + crabgrass control a week ago. If it matters, I am in northern virginia and did not rake before fertilizing.

My grass was brown (dormant) before the application and now some patches are green but others are still brown (dormant) - they never got green and stayed the same brown.

Now, what could be going on? did I burn some patches? or under fertilize those? Is there anything I could do (another product or re-fertilize)?

On late 2009 I moved to VA.

I am buying a used XBOX 360. Seller states it has an HDMI port, however, I am curious as to what resolution does it support. Is it 720? 1080?. As long as it has an HDMI port, does it support 1080? Since I am buying a used one, I just want to make sure that all xbox with HDMI are the same thing, and not that older xboxes only support 420 while newer support 720 or 1080.....
