  • Ice or heat for a pulled/strained muscle?

Also- to wrap or not to wrap? Pulled my calf playing volleyball.

  • Can anyone recommend a good quality WINTER running jacket?

I live in Minnesota and it regularly does not get above 0 in the winter. I've got the pants, gloves, socks, shoes, face mask, hat... but cannot find a good cold weather jacket. At this point I'm almost ready to say price is no object!! I either froze or overheated last winter and ended up not running for a few months (which I certainly paid for in the spring! :)

    Thank you in advance!

  • On average, how long do brakes last?

I understand that it depends on how often you drive the car, what kind of driving you do, etc. I've got 36,000 miles on my car, drive fairly conservatively, not a lot of stop and go. It's going in for it's 36000 mile checkup soon, and I just would like to know if it's about that time.

    Thank you in advance!

  • High quality, low protien senior cat food?

My 9 yr old cat Henry has was diagnosed with chronic renal insufficiency over 6 years ago. We do SQ fluids three times weekly and go in for bloodwork checks every 3 months. He has been holding steady and remaining in the high normal range for BUN and slightly elevated creatnine for the past 4 years or so. He has been eating Science Diet maintenece through his whole life and doing well, but now he is getting up there and I would love to find a better quality senior food. Tried k/d and NF and he turned his nose up at both. My dog gets Blue Buffalo but the protien content for cats is 40%!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! And also feel free to tell me to NOT change the food and leave well enough alone :)
