Would this work from that depth?

Do women really sleep with men so easily? Do you seek out casual encounters with coworkers, friends, even strangers at bars? If so, what criteria do you use? Is it strictly appearance and presentation, or do you seek out men you might actually pursue longer relationships with?

If I have damage prevention at my disposal, when I apply it, but my opponent redirects the damage to a Planeswalker, does it resolve? Or does the full damage apply to the Planeswalker, and the prevention effect remains in place relative to me (player)?

Also, during combat, can damage prevention be applied towards the Planeswalker? If the attacker is declared against a planeswalker, can the prevention effect be used for the Planeswalker?

If a spell, artifact or effect creates soldier tokens, do they have any additional "type" designations if the creation effect does not specify? There are new equipment cards in Innistrad which specify bonuses if the equipped creatures are human. If a soldier token does not specify "Human Soldier," can that token creature gain a bonus which specifies "Human"?

For any spell or effect which does damage to all creatures and players, how does it apply? For example, if I Earthquake for 3, does the planeswalker take the 3pt. damage/loyalty loss?

At Friday Night, one of my friend's opponents openly checked his next draw before end of turn had passed to him. She warned him not to do it again.

Obviously, this would be a disqualify in high tournament, but how serious is this on Friday? Should she have called over the on-site judge?

We are going near the end of February. While the City pass is under consideration, we were looking for some extra ideas. We would be considering some of the nightclubs, as well as other things to do in the overnights in the city.

Any ideas? Please note if these are things you have done, or if you live in the city or not.

Recently I got a call from someone claiming to be a "recruiter" from a national insurance chain. I was a little leery from the start, as she sounded like she was reading from a script (and not very well at that). Still, I looked up the job listing, decided to go to the "interview," but with a fair amount of skepticism.

As expected, even before I met with the "recruiter," the promo video playing in the waiting room hit one of the high points: the phrase "grow your business." As the interview continued, the talking points of MLM kept coming up. "How much time and money are you prepared to invest in this?" "Are you ready to start building your book of clients?" After I asked a question about cold-call telemarketing, they even used the phrase "purchase leads."

Is this the norm in the insurance industry, or is this just a bad company?

We will be going on vacation to the Big Island of Hawaii, and are wondering about some of the little known fun things to do while there. This our second trip there. Our first time was 10 ears ago, for our honeymoon. We are already planning for Volcano Park, the Volcano Winery, and some golfing.

What suggestions do you have for some "off the beaten" path activities while there? What about some of the unique restaurants and eateries to try?

I was at an antique store, and found a piece of sheet metal with artwork which looked like a Jackson Pollock painting. The metal was a little over 3 feet, almost square gunmetal grey. There was a Pollock signature in the corner, but I was a little suspicious.

I am hoping to get some more information, because I think I might go get it Monday. It's a conversation piece, at the very least.

Romulan cry-baby Nero is captain of the Nerada. What kind of name is Nerada?

Oh right, the Vashta Nerada were swarming, carnivorous beings. The name meant "the Shadows that melt the flesh". They were featured in the episode "Silence in the Library."

So, not only is Kirk a fan of Classic Rock stations, but Nero is a big old Doctor Who fan.

The sample starts two songs that I know of. It begins KLF's "3 A.M. Eternal" and Scooter's "Hello (Good to be back)"

The sample, which sounds like a radio broad cast, says "This is radio freedom," and is followed by automatic gunfire. I should probably know from where it comes, but I can't remember.

The opening gambit for this week's NCIS looked just like the opening for the Torchwood episode, "Countrycide." Driver on a country road thinks they hit somebody, only to find the "body" to be a fake. They return to their car, and the keys are gone. They try their cell, but there's no signal.

I think somebody at CBS owes somebody at the BBC some money.

To elaborate, the commercial starts with the woman pulling up to the KFC while the Tyson truck is delivering. I noticed right away that she was getting out on the right side of the car, but I thought that she could be a passenger. Later, I realized that she was - in fact - getting out on the driver's side...in a UK car. I double checked to see if you could see the plate, and - as expected - it's not an American plate.

What's up with that?

A web resource I was looking at list this about it;

That's not a lot of information about what, exactly, this custom involves. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Consider, the eclipse is created when the moon passes into the shadow of the Earth. This would indicate that the sun and the moon are on opposite sides of the planet. How early in the afternoon could the eclipse be visible?

According to James Bruce, in "Travels to Discover the Source of the Nile, vol IV," he used his knowledge of an eclipse to escape the wrath of the Sheikh of Beyla. (Beyla being in Republic of Guinea today)

Further, it is claimed that there was indeed a total eclipse visable at ten minutes past four. To me, this seemed unlikely, particularly in such a near equitorial locale.

I mean, I thought it was a simple instruction. In the past, I have used more complex instructions (no guard on parts, etc.), but I thought this simple, standard cut would be no problem. I was shocked when he asked me "how short?"

For the record, I just responded "As short as it goes."

In the past, citrus crops were occasionally decimated by unseasonal early frosts.
