I can handle the occasional bark at dogs walking by or if someone pulls in the driveway, but this is getting ridiculous. Our neighbor has two pitbulls that bark, whine and get loose all the time. The best part is being woke up at 4:45 every morning when he wakes my dogs up by letting his dogs run around.

I have totally given up any hope of him taken care of his dogs and want to be able to get my dogs to stop barking when the pitbulls are out. Barking collars haven't work. Any other suggestions?

I just had a friend tell me that a candidate in his township is trying to press charges because he defaced a sign of hers that someone had placed in his yard without premission. Does she actually have a case?

I seriously need help. I have filled out the FAFSA and they claim I can afford a third of what I make to go back to school. So they gave me a high EFC number. I've been out of high school for 16 years so I have many bills to pay. So I looked into scholarships and grants and most of them say you have to have a low EFC number. Student loans are a joke , you have to pay almost double back. So where do I turn now?

I just got my EFC number back and it's a third of what my husband and I make a year. Seriously what do they base their decision on?

I recently found out that I have Seasonal Affective Disorder. I am not fond of taking medication and would rather try other forms of treatment. My doctor seems hell-bent on treating this with pills and won't offer any other options. Anyone know of any other options I can try before resorting to medication?

Overall I'm in good shape I just can't get rid of the little pouch beneath my belly button. I've been doing crunches, but the pouch is still there. Any other suggestions on exercises and diet tips and lypo is not an option.

I need suggestions on how to discuss the fact that I'm really close to walking out on my Husband. I've talked to him about his drinking and the problems that have arose this year because of it. Everytime I bring it up he says he understands where I'm coming from and swears he'll change, but he hasn't. Last night I woke up smelling smoke and found him passed out in a chair with a lit cigar. First of all we don't allow smoking in our house. Secondly he could have burned down the house.

I've told him I'm concerned for his health and our marriage, but this obviously is not working. I don't want to tell him to stop drinking just stop over doing it. It's always when there is something important going on,it's getting really old making excuses for why he acts the way he does.

I love my Husband, he's my best friend, but I can't go on living this way. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've got a friend from high school that I only hear from at Christmas. She always calls a few hours before she shows up with her husband and kids. The call is always the same "Hey I'm in town with your presents. We'll be there in a few hours." I never know what day they're going to spring this on me. This is always a hassle because we have so many parties to attend. I've wrote to her asking for ideas for the kids and her Husband and that just made her mad. I've tried e-mailing her trying to pick up on things she says, but her email never works. I'm out of ideas. I have no clue what they are in to because I really don't know them.

I feel like I should get them something, but what? Also how should I handle the last minute drop ins?

My cousin just told me they put their turkey in the roaster breast side down for the first 30 minutes. I've never heard this before I was always told breast side up. Is there something to this?
