I'm making a game of poker were you are dealt two hands at start and you are shown 5 on the table, and you can choose what you want to keep then on the next turn the hands you didnt chose are shuffled and you get scored on what you have, i think this called 'texas poker'

Anyway i wanna know if for Straights do the cards need to be in order of how you SEE them or they just have to be in order if you were to rearrange them in order. to be more clear, if i have {2,5} in hand {6,8,7,K,A} on table here we have 5,6,7,8 but they are clearly not in order is this still a straight or would it have to be VISIBLY consecutive..

This has been happening to me a lot lately, everyday when i go to school i end up falling asleep in math class by accident and when i wake up I'm paralyzed. The first time this happened it scared me so much, but now it happens so much it's kinda fun. but still kinda scares me is it normal to have this much sleep paralyzes.. it happens about 3 days in a normal school week

So i have been drinking soda every day since i was like 9, (with some exceptions of not having soda's near by or whatever) I haven't always drank 1-3 but most of the time i find myself drinking around that number.Soda's are the only thing i seem to eat (with some snacks here and there... not junk food snack more like small portions of "meals") I really don't like school food so I don't eat it. So i wake up at like 6:40 and get out of school at 3:40 and I don't eat or drink all day until i get home were i drink like 2-3 cans of soda's and basically bread I have been doing routine for like the past month now. And I know its bad for me, And i probably should buy school food. but it's just so darn shitty I'd rather not waste 2 dollars just to complain to my friends how shitty it is. So how bad is this? what happens if i continue? what should I expect in the future even if i stop cold turkey today?

what if i don't stop? Also although many reports say you gain weight from drinking soda's I actually loose weight. is this because of my lack of food too? I feel like it's the acidic acid eating away at my fat or something.

I had free will to learn about most religions I have respectfully read/understood there beliefs but i just feel that they all have common ideas (i know some do branch) or simply not modern day fault but passed down fault by being forced on our ancesters to believe that now today were are stuck with these religions that only benefit us emotional. And to some extent so emotionally it feels physical.

Build technology from scratch, well not COMPLETE scratch (Mining for materials :P ) I just mean like working with. welding, and putting wires together and having a empty green board thingy and somehow making a small (SMALL) 'computer ish' out of it.

Now i know text based games aren't ALL that fun but I am just beginning to learn java, and i feel like making a Pokemon text based game; So far i have "an intro, choosing Pokemon, random monster selection, attack, defense ,health for both player and monster, BUT I'm having trouble with the math because i don't how to scale it? health = 100? , 1,000 ? attack = 10? , 50? ; or even just random attack like Random. next Int(10-100) -(bad example) anyway is there a way to properly scale it to were its kinda even, but slightly hard. ALSO. Monsters are effected by types like water,fire,or grass. the player has 3 attack option. and i might add a random 3 attack option for the monsters too. ALL i need is the math. please try and answer like these examples below.

So I took apart my emachines to put new thermal paste in the CPU, I cleaned it with nail polish and put antec formula 6. This isn't th first time if taken my computer apart so I know what I'm doing(kinda). When I press the power button it turns on and the computer starts and the fans test and it tells me it's on with a light. BUT! I can't decide what's happens next it eight turns on to half a milli second then turns off, or it runs on but it stays dark an kinda dim or just black.

So the question, did I **** up thE CPU or the screen, ? Solution?

I really don't know ANYTHING about music other then the fact that I like it. And like many others like me strive to get the best out of a product. SO, what is virtually the best possible sound. And what is the best sound I can buy? With money aside and biased believes I want quantitative results not just opinions.
