Yesterday at work, I had a large piece of metal track fall on to my arm, causing a rather large and open wound. I have had injuries like this in the past, and have tested them myself rather than opting for stitching. I did, however, go to the ER yesterday after a large hematoma formed at the base of the wound. I am having a large difficulty using the muscle in my arm now. Activities like pushing down on the button on my toaster or gripping an object and moving it are causing extreme pain at the wound. I have never had a wound act like this before and I am worried that this could be more than a flesh wound. The cut is located about 2 inches perpendicular to my pinky below my wrist. Thank you

We have generalized names for groups of like creatures; dogs, cats, monkeys, fish etc. I have a theory that perhaps the word "human" is too generalized. If you look at this scientifically, white people stem from Europe, black people owe their roots to Africa, and oriental people originate from the eastern Asia. Now, I am not racist at all and I appreciate the value of every creature on this earth, but I would be lying if I said that every "race" of human is equal. Black people tend to be more muscular and have a distinct hair style; Oriental people tend to be shorter and have unique eyes; White people are distinct by being not as distinct, I guess. What it all boils down to is that every "race" of human is visually distinct and for the most part we have different mannerisms as well. I hate comparing us to dogs, but there is the general term "dogs" and their are several species within that realm. Different breeds of dog are able to reproduce, are visually distinct, and originate from specific areas of the world; like humans. Is this an outrageous theory or is there some merit to it?

Would it be possible to use wind power to generate power for a car? Think about it... An electric powered car on a freeway could become even more efficient if wind power was used. If a car goes 70 on a highway, and 2 small wind turbines were used in the car, the "wind" would increase as the cars speed increases, making the car even more efficient. Is this possible or has it been done before?

I want to cut off my circulation to my arm by putting the new animal bracelets on my arm. My hope is to get severely injured, possibly losing my arm, in order to sue the "Animal Bracelet Company".

I listen to the "post-hardcore" music, but i need some new bands. ADTR and silverstein have overstayed their welcome in my iPod as I have memorized every song they have ever made. Emarosa the same thing. Escape the fate doesn't scream enough, Aiden is just terrible, Alesena is OK but not something I would listen to everyday. I hate BFMT, Haste the Day and One Dead Three Wounded.I like From First to Last but they get old quick. And Four Year Strong just isn't cutting it. Bring Me The Horizon screams too much as with August Burns Red, but I CAN listen to them if I am in the mood.

ANYWAY, I need new bands. I need a balance of screamage, not overboard but they need to scream just about every song. Any help?

I am burning something onto a blank dual layer blank DVD on my computer. The CD Drive said it has "DVD Multi Recorder" and "RW DVD+R DL". The DVD's I have are DVD+R DL. The problem I am having is that nothing will write to the DVD's. When I put the DVD's into the computer, the computer thinks it is a blank CD and wants to write it as if it was a CD, not a DVD. Any solutions??

So, earlier today I relieved my liquid bladder needs in the toilet in the bathroom of my one story house. Everything went smooth. As is customary, i flushed the toilet and proceeded to turn around and wash my hands. I then heard a splash and turned around to see a rat jump out of the toilet I just relieved myself from. Now, I live in an urbab place, so is is possible it came up through the pipes? I Googled this shiz but got no definitive answer. I didn't scream, but I jumped up on the counter like a little girl.

I have an iPod nano, 1st gen, moded with Rockbox. It only has 2 gigs of memory, and I was lookin for an upgrade of that. If I bough a broken classic, say 30 gig or 80 gig, could I install it into the nano? I love my nano, and I need to know it they use the same type of memory and if it would fit. Thanks

Alright, I have a mohawk that, last weekend, i attempted to dye purple. I bleached it, then dyed it purple. It came out pink. So, now I am bleaching it AGAIN to just go with a blonde-type color. The problem is, the bleach has been in for about 20 minutes or so and my hair still looks pink. Will the bleach bleach out the pink coloring or am I stuck with a rosy 'hawk? Thanks for the help

ALSO, i do have green hair coloring. So if the pink doesn;t come out, is it possible to dye it green over the pink?? This is my second option, as I would prefer the bleach color.

For some reason, my pull-up menus were semi-transparent and I wanted to change that. I tried, but instead of fixing it, I ended up changing everything into Windows Classic. I changed back to XP, but my taskbar has remained in Classic. And I still have not fixed the pull up menues! So, can someone tell me how to 1. Change my taskbar back to XP and 2. Change the pullup menu transparency? I have already tried changing themes.

What can make Yahoo! Answers better? Would getting rid of the Level system be better because it allows more answers? Would getting rid of "negative rating" users, (those who receive more "Thumbs Down" rather than "Thumbs Up" benefit the Answers community?
