  • Hypothetical sexual (orientation) discrimination question?

Ok... The current situation: Men and women have different locker rooms and restrooms because quite frankly, we don't want the other sex staring at our naked bodies with potential sexual intentions. This could be justified, and rightfully so, as sexual segregation.

Now, imagine a world where there was a 50/50 chance of being gay/straight (never mind the decreased rate of repopulation...) ... So the world (or our country at least) would be evenly split between straight men, gay men, straight women and gay/lesbian women. Using this same logic... Do you think it would be reasonable to create a 3rd locker room/ restroom? One for gay men and women?

For the record... I fully support the LGBT community and this question was just something I was thinking about. Kinda a weird question, I know

  • What year did GM close factories in the movie Roger & Me?

Essentially... What year did the events of the movie happen in? Were the closings a result of decreased demand for american made gas-guzzlers during the OPEC fuel embargo?

  • Mastercard Debit CVC2 number is useless?

I just made a purchase using my debit card online and I was pretty sure I entered the wrong CVC2 number. So, I check my account, and the purchase went through, the money was taken out. To test this, I made another purchase for something worth 50 cents or so and this time, I entered "00000" as the CVC2 code. Lo and behold, the purchase still went through and the 50something cents were taken out of my account. Strange?

  • Can a stock really be "cheap"?

For instance, people might say that a stock valued at $5 a share is "cheap" while Apple valued at around $600 a share is "expensive". While yes, if you only have a couple hundred bucks, apple is expensive, but you also have to look at the price relative to the value of the company and the number of shares available, correct? Also, couldnt the price of a stock be arbitrary and dependent on the company splitting the stock and such? Just want some feedback on my ideas/thinking. thanks

  • Why do I get jumpy when I get a haircut?

When the barber uses the buzzer/razor around my ears and neck, i flinch, like a natural reflex. BUT, this only happens when the razor is around the right side of my head/neck/face. When the buzzer is around my left side, I'm calm, the razor is almost soothing.

Is there some sort of psychological/neurological explanation to why this happens?

  • what was the point of the browns trading up to #3?

The Vikes seemed to have been set on Kalil seeing as they had no need for Trent Richardson. So the Browns would have ended up with Richardson at their #4 pick anyways. The Browns essentially gave away picks to gain nothing. Agree?

  • Your thoughts on Social Darwinism?

Political affiliation and your thoughts/opinions on it.

Call me a Nazi or whatever, but I actually believe it is a great idea. When you get right down to the bare bones of it, when the dumbest, laziest, least talented people breed, they are producing dumb, lazy people. In a world with scarce resources, and where we are already over populated and where projections predict even more crowding, why should those resources go to people who wont help fight the problem or give much in return? Now, I can already predict that I'm going to get a lot of 1 sentence responses referring to something you call "ethics", or "moral values". Explain it. And, no I am not a redneck, nor am I a conservative, or a racist. Just a realist.
