I know that these flags mean different things to different people. I also know that the Confederate Flag was not originally meant to be used as a sign of racism, BUT.....If you see someone go get their Confederate Flag and put it in the yard for you to see, is that a sign not to move into that neighborhood? Just asking because the guy seemed purposeful in his actions. I am having a house built in this neighborhood and don't want my children exposed to someone yelling racist slurs at them while they are riding their bikes. What to do????

I have a daughter who is 10. She has a friend who lives in Miami. I promised her that we would make the trip to see her friend and their family this December, but financially I can't afford it. Because I made such a big deal about going I don't want to go back on my word so I asked the girl's mother if it would be ok for my dtr to come alone.
What do you think / know about unaccompanied minors? Is someone from the airlines with them?
