yeah you mad? my pitbull is bieng very submissive lately..he's 16 months old..and he doesn't seem to be as dominant as before? he is not fixed and maybe he needs to get some (wink wink) maybe im an A1 trainer.. should i be worried? HI PITBULL HATERS!

background info: we have a staffordshire bull terrier.. he has been babied by us since the age of 5 weeks.. fully house trained after 2 months. He shouldn't be scared of anything and has never shown signs of fear..He has been socialized with other dogs and more importantly people. On saturday we gave his monthly bath. (maybe the soap? DOVE) but he seemed fine after. On sunday, I began to notice this issue as some friends walked in (he normally goes bonkers and can very easily knock anything down from the coffee table).. This is where i first noticed his tail was not in its errect position. The friends don't really like dogs and are generally depressed.. so i figured he could sense that he was not shown the normal attention that our other guest do... but even after they left he seemed sick.. monday arrives, and he was ill and proceeded to vomit.. since then he has regained his energy and plays and even went jogging with me this morning (tuesday) the tail is wagging ever so slightly but it is still pinned at ALL TIMES.. he would yelp on sunday when we tried to lift it manually. he also yelped when i took him to go to potty (but it was darked and im sure he must have stepped on something sharp..he was more spooked than anything).

he seems fine and happy and im puzzled. Ideas? (we have an appointment with our vet on wednesday so please abstain from those answers). I think that docking tails is inhumane and enjoy the sight of my happy puppy waggle. what can we do to get that waggle back?
