Hi!

I was just admitted to the University of Colorado Boulder(my top choice school!)....today I just received an email from CU saying that I had been chosen for their Arts & Sciences Honors Program. The program would house honors students in Smith Hall and requires students to take additional seminar classes in the residence hall itself. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with the honors program. What are the benefits? Does being apart of the Honors program require you to take an overall more rigorous course load? If so, is it worth it? I am a highly engaged student, but I always want to have fun in my college years and really live out the college experience. Also, I received an additional email from the CU Boulder school of Journalism and Mass Communication saying that I was chosen to be a Media Scholar? Not sure what that entails at all....

If anyone has any information or insight and would like to share it would be much appreciated.

I'm trying out for the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie this summer. I am aiming to get the part of Miss Dorothy.
