Mic levels and pa speakers?
Hiya, kind of a noob in the audio field so my question is;
If I buy an external preamp as opposed to turning a microphone up to microphone level on a speaker, will it sound better?
To elaborate, I have a behringer 2115d and an sm58 microphone running through, if I used a preamp im under the assumption that I would use line level instead of turning the volume up to a microphone level. sorry if I didn't explain very well, cheers
