Some common answers seem to be because the world is adapting a single currency or because there is one world religion (all signs of the end).
However, the world is NOT adapting a single currency (especially not after the crisis in Europe)- there are currently close to 112 different currencies. Actually, the golden standard was the closest thing to a world currency, and we no longer use that.
But anyways, is there any scriptural evidence that the world is about to end? To me there is more evidence against it:
The Bible says the world will end when we least expect it, well now is certainly not that time.
