I have a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta. The inexperienced sounding guy at the dealership told me to wait until it had 10,000 miles to change the oil...but that seems like a really long time to me.

It has synthetic oil in it right now, and about 7,000 miles.

How long should I go before changing it?

The Gateway laptop we've had for about 5 years got a pen slammed in it and broke the right side of the screen. About 2 inches vertically all the way up are broken.

I know on a desktop how to change the float of the display, like if you got a different sized monitor. Is there a way that I can resize the window to make everything smaller (as if I had a smaller monitor)?

If so...how?

I have a good computer (Dell Dimenstion E521 w/ XP) and camera (HP photosmart M22), both of them work fine on their own. However...the computer has a memory card reader that my camera's SD card fits in. If I've just restarted my computer, it will read the card, but if I put it in a second time it doesn't acknowledge it.

Even if I try to hook the camera up with the USB cable, the HP window will pop up and say the device is not connected.

I've tried putting the cable in all 4 USB ports, I've looked at the HP website (which told me to reinstall the camera software, but I don't have it anymore because XP came with the proper drivers), I've restarted my computer, I've disconnected every cable possible and put it back again,. and I've tried to get the pictures off without using the camera wizard and it still doesn't work.

Where can I go to fix this, and what exactly is wrong?

A recent discussion in our Sunday school class concerned defense of your faith. We talked about how you should know what you believe and why you believe it.

If someone asked you what you believed and why, could you answer sufficiently?

[Note that I'm not trying to down anyone else's faith, and that I have firm belief in mine. I'm not looking for confirmation of my own, I'm just curious about what others can say about their faith.]

I really hate Microsoft word but I like WordPad. So that's what I use. But if I save something with .RTF and then close it out, and then open it again it opens in Word, which really bothers me. I know that there is a way to change this, but I can't figure it out. Could someone help me find the setting that will let me keep things in WordPad? Thanks!

Ah, I realize the forming of that question was quite cheezy, but i'm in that kind of mood...lol

Meaning this was the only person with whom you had any interface. You wouldn't have to be with them the whole time, just they could be the only person.

And WHY?

My greatest fear is knives because I was seriously injured with one when I was young. I think this fear is okay because it has something to back it up. I was just curious what some other people are scared of. If you know the name of the fear, tell me too. (ex. fear of strangers = xenophobia, etc.)
