Hi, I have a c++ question which is supposed to "be done in a function using the prototype:
double larger (double x, double y)"
Can someone please explain what this means? I've written the program for the question and it works properly but I doubt it abides by these guidelines. Someone please explain!

Using the equation: y = c / (c+(1-c)e^(-kt)) where c = y(0)
(c) A small town has 2300 inhabitants. At 8 AM, 160 people have heard a rumor. By noon half the town has heard it. At what time will 90% of the population have heard the rumor? (Round the answer to one decimal place.)
I am getting k to equal -.0013499174 and my answer to be 4.3, but this is incorrect, can someone please help me get the correct answer?
