I am a Chistian Scientist - The type that is a scientist, but also a Christian. Confused yet? Christian 1st. Nothing else a close second.

  • What is you religion (or lack there of)?

And what characteristics do you like about anothers religion (Or lack)

For example - I am Christian, and I respect that Jewish people are in such awe of the name of God, that they often type G-d

  • Tired of evolution questions?

It is all the same question over and over. Then prove why person one is smarter than person two.

If you are tired of this, tell me, what country you are from, and other catagories that you frequent other than R/S

    Can't we all get along?

  • For Christians and Muslims?

I am a Christian, I have been in Mosques, and had Muslim speakers in my church. My best Muslim friend has been to churches, and had Christian preachers at his Mosque.

I just read from a Muslim, that Christians are taught in church to hate Muslims. So here is my question - What faith are you, and what other faiths have you actually been in their holy place (temple, church, mosque, etc.). Not just read propaganda in books or on the net.

  • Jewish question?

In the Christian book of Genesis during the creation God said " Let Us make man in Our image"

At the Tower of Babel God said " Let Us go down and confuse their words"

The word We , and Us?

And the word Elohim is plural.

My question is from a Christian perspective this all indicates the Trininty. Can you explain this from a Jewish perspective of who God is talking too? I've only heard quite complicated answers using parts of speach, and I confuse easily

  • Who thinks most Muslims ......?

tie bombs around themselves or the like. Many people who think they are funny post those questions and answers here.

I see the athiests think Christians do that.

I see Christians assume it is athiests with poor humor

It could even be a giant Muslim conspiracy to get pity???? (doubtful)

Does anyone have the courage to say that about Muslims one more time, and say their religious affliliation (or lack of)

  • 3 most overused questions on the R/S section?

    1) Why do athiests come to this site?

    2) Jesus is just a prophet / no trinity

    3) how do I ask a question here?

Just a lighter question to chew on during all this 'debate'.

Got any other too often asked questions?

  • To non Christian and non Muslims?

Do you Believe that Jesus actually walked the earth?

I don't care about the God /Prophet thing. Just curious if you believe that he was a real historical figure.

And your religious affiliation or lack of if you would be so kind.

  • question inspired by shadowofears?

Christians have several pre - incarnations of Jesus in the old testement.

    examples are

    1) Angel of the Lord appearing to joshua.

    2) 1 of the angels that came to abraham just before sodom + G. were destroyed.

    3) Angel that appeared to Gideon

Christians see these as Jesus, since these angels accepted worship, and the words they spoke, were infering that the angel had power.

What is the jewish interpretation of these incidences?

  • Any takers on this one?

Here is a bible verse of what God said to King Solomon

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land (2 Chron 7:14)

Christians - it is in the bible - take a minute right now and pray, and be humble.

Jews - It is in the old testement, are you willing too?

Muslims - It is in one of your holy books, It does not conflict with anything that the Quran says, are you willing?

Buhdists / Hindus - I don't know enough about your religions, are you willing if it lines up with your religion?

Other religions - Tell me you religions, and if you are willing to pray

Athiests - Just stay humble yourself, and do your part to make the world a better place.

Everyone - Tell me your home country, and what land you are asking for healing.

  • Homosexual preachers and others.......?

Bible is quite clear that homosexuality is wrong, As Judaism says, as does the Quran in Islam.

All people have sinned, so no one is perfect. Homosexuals I believe should be allowed to attend the church/mosque / etc. without discrimination. They have the same rights and everything else.

My real question is - Can they lead the church? Some Christian denominations are allowing homosexuals to be ministers / pastors. The ones I have talked to have warped what the bible says to suit their needs. (which is wrong for whatever is warped).

    Can they be Iman's etc.

do you think your religion will decay to this someday?

  • Jesus said?

Mat 10:32 "Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.

So what is your answer before men + women here?
