I have a Canon 450D and a Speedlite Di622. Supposedly, they're compatible. Also, they're both rather new [ less than a year ]. I've never used the Speedlite before but it's been used by a close family friend who's meticulous about taking care of her gear, so I'm positive it isn't damaged. Everything is charged and has new batteries, etc.

When I press "pilot", the speedlite flashes. Also, when it's actually connected to the camera and I press the release, the speedlite flashes. However, I can't seem to make it work off-camera. Is there something special I need to do?

I'm doing a project where I have an income and have to figure out spending, etc. One of the requirements is to figure out the price of life insurance...I can't find any websites that can help me with this.

So here's the situation:

I live in an 1100 sq. foot apartment, on the 3rd floor of a building with a concierge.

I was at my apartment with 10 other people.

2 people were in the two separate bathrooms.

1 was in my bedroom.

1 was in the kitchen.

The rest were in the doorway, which is right across from the kitchen.

The doorway and the kitchen are right next to the dining room table.

I had my phone on the dining room table when I handed it to my friend

so that he could make a phone call. He walked into the kitchen to talk

and I left the room for a minute or two.

When I came back he told me that he put the phone on the table, and I

said okay because he's a very trustworthy, simple person.

Then a lot of the people left and I looked for my phone in my purse, which

was also on the table, but it wasn't there, so I left.

I went straight to my friends' building, which is two buildings away. I was

carrying the purse and a hat which held my belt, a dress, and stockings

for the next day.

My phone ran out of battery the next day so I couldn't call it to hear the ring.

It's been a week. I've asked all of my friends to double-check their stuff for my

phone and they have (they're all trustworthy people from church). I've thoroughly

searched my house and the house I stayed at that night. I asked the concierge.

I talked to my family members and the woman who cleans our house, who I also

trust.

Haven't found my phone anywhere. It makes absolutely no sense to me, but I know

that logically, phones must be SOMEWHERE. So I was wondering if any of you might

have an idea? lol.

This is unorthodox, I know.

ii can get away with a decent amount of accessories, but you never know when they'll flip ;P

ii can also get away with moderate heels (1-2 inches) so long as i walk in a straight line.

So I have this friend who I kinda have a crush on. I want creative advice, if you would be so kind. When I say "creative advice", that means that I'm looking for answers which are a bit beyond "just be yourself". I'm looking for explanations to what guys that age like to see in a girl my age, ect.

It'll probably be good if I give a short description of us both.

He is a 16 year old Mexican boy who plays soccer. He has times when he's sweet, but for the most part he likes making fun of me. Primarily my height. Sometimes he bursts into random Spanish, and says he likes it when I speak in French. I'm not really sure why. He's quite taller than me, and I have to stretch my arm up into order to steal his baseball cap (which he is always wearing).

I am a 14 year old mixed (black and white) girl who likes the arts. I hate sports, but do everything artistic (drawing, acting, instruments, singing, writing, ect.) I'm not very good around people, and I am VERY short.
